Chiosco Bar "La Cattolica" In Stilo

At this kiosk, we had a brioche with bergamot gelato and fig granita. The bergamot gelato was amazing!! The flavor was delicate, but you could still taste the bergamot. The fig granita was the fruit!! During our vacation in Calabria, we tried bergamot gelato several times, and we weren't thrilled because it always had an aftertaste of..."detergent"... My advice is to try the bergamot gelato from the La Cattolica kiosk, and then tell me... ;)

Stopping here, before or after visiting the Cattolica, on a beautiful day and enjoying the bergamot-infused products, from iced tea to granita, is priceless.

A delightful dinner in a relaxing setting with a unique view of the village and the valley. Excellent local products, both classic and revisited (like the spritz or bergamot wine). Delicious pizza made with homemade flour from ancient grains. The atmosphere is familiar, welcoming, and friendly, yet the service is attentive and attentive, expertly supervised by the talented Rita.

We stopped at this bar while waiting for the Cattolica to open. The view is splendid, the staff friendly and welcoming. Excellent selection of local products, simple and authentic. I particularly enjoyed the bergamot tea, truly delicious. The cool breeze and the shade made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. We had excellent friselle and a delicious crispy focaccia. We'll be back!

After visiting the Cattolica, we rested at the Chiosco Bar and took the owner's suggestions to heart: he made us a granita with bergamot gelato, which was absolutely delicious! We then enjoyed a pleasant conversation with an unparalleled panoramic view! Thank you. Next time we're in Calabria, we won't miss the opportunity to stop here!

A charming place just off the Cattolica exit. My wife and I went there during our stay in Stilo. Unique bergamot ice creams! One of the best pizzas we've ever had. Wonderful staff and owners. Thank you for everything.

As soon as I went to visit my family we came back here on purpose (more than an hour's drive) to eat the bergamot granita from this kiosk again. Personally the best I've ever eaten
