Chicken Hut In Roma

I went to Chicken Hut in the Trastevere area attracted by the American concept and the desire for something tasty, different from the usual Roman cuisine. The place certainly has potential, but there are several aspects that could be improved. The fried chicken, which should be the strong point, did not convince me entirely: crunchy yes, but a little dry and with a breading that tended to tire after a few bites. The available sauces are good, but not enough to give a strong identity to the dish. The fries were served lukewarm and not very crunchy, as if they had been reheated and not just fried. The place is small, with a few tables inside and others outside. During my visit, the cleanliness left a little to be desired: tables not cleared for several minutes and the bathroom that could have done with a fix. The staff was kind but a little disorganized, and the waiting times to order and receive the food were quite long even though the place was not full. Prices are average for Trastevere, but considering the quality of the food and the service, maybe a little high for what is actually offered. Bottom line: a place with good intentions, but that could use a little more attention to quality and organization. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it wasn't one I would enthusiastically recommend either. If they improve these aspects, it could really become a good option for a quick and tasty meal in the area.

A quick dinner based on rice with vegetables, a hearty dish and tasty to the right point. Kind and smiling staff. Fast service. I will gladly return.

It's impossible to eat there because of the pigeons. The food is good. Less price. But the atmosphere is a big zero. I hope they will be able to find a solution

This location may not look like much, but the food is very good. The chicken has some spice to it and is crispy. The bugers are tasty and the salads are quite big. This is not KFC it is actually much better! The crispy chicken sandwich is meaty with mayonnaise, honey-dijon mustard, and a mild BBQ sauce. The hamburger had cheese, mayonnaise, and the same mild BBQ sauce. Update: Ate here again on April 29th prices are the same food is still good. Tried the onion rings and they are like Burger King but tastier, nice onion flavor.

The prices are very low and this establishment is a competitor with McDonald's and similar establishments, I recommend it, the food is very tasty
