We stopped by chance and it was a lovely surprise, a stunning location and very tastefully decorated, entering it feels like being in another era, a small but well-structured place, beautiful first floor, quality raw materials and excellently cooked, young but very professional staff, well done and congratulations, if we return to Arezzo we will know where to go to eat.

We had lunch at Chiantineria and I must say we had a great time. The place is certainly quaint, with exposed wooden beams and just steps from Piazza Grande. The food was high-quality (we ordered a platter and some first courses), the wine served by the glass was excellent and there was a wide selection, and the young woman who served us was always friendly, smiling, and attentive to every request.

We had a bite to eat here with the kids. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. It's always wonderful to have a bite to eat in a charming alleyway in Italy.

A lovely evening in Arezzo. The restaurant is located in an alleyway leading off the Piazza Grande. We dined outside on the alleyway, and the food and wine were excellent: a Tuscan platter to share, pappa al 🍅, and a pot of beans with uccelletto sauce and sausage. Naturally, a glass of Chianti and delicious bread!

tomato soup and the bean/sausage in tomato souce were perfect, as well as the lasagna. The home made pasta with tomato and garlic is rather 3/4.

Excellent wine shop. Very kind and friendly owners. They produce their own excellent cured meats. Also jars in oil. All delicious and very fresh. They are very good and it is located a stone's throw from the large square in the center of Arezzo! I highly recommend it and don't miss this wonderful wine shop!

We had such a memorable meal here. The Tuscan crostini with liver pâté were rich and perfectly balanced, and the prosciutto e melone was simple but so fresh—exactly how it’s meant to be. The handmade pasta in red sauce was comforting and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly kind and patient, even letting us practice our Italian, which made the experience feel even more personal. The meal ended with a beautifully presented espresso, complete with a tiny meringue and sugar served in a moka pot—such a sweet touch. Places like this are what make Italy feel truly magical.
