Excellent selection of traditional Bari cuisine. The spaghetti all'assassina is noteworthy. The desserts are sublime.

I loved it! With our vacation almost over and before returning to Sicily, I wanted to plan a surprise romantic dinner for my wife. Based on online research and recommendations from colleagues in Bari, I chose this restaurant/pizzeria. The main reason for this choice was the "SPAGHETTI ALL'ASSASSINA," which was truly SPECTACULAR!! After the spaghetti, in keeping with Apulian tradition, we ordered the classic "TIELLA BARESE," which was REALLY GOOD, made fresh and PRACTICALLY PERFECT! To finish, we tried a slice of bread with (very fresh) GRILLED OCTOPUS, which was REALLY DELICIOUS!! THE BILL (except for the octopus...) was not salty and proportionate to the dishes ordered. END RESULT: My wife asked to meet the chef to plan her third wedding... 😅😂😂

I had dinner a few Saturdays ago with my family. The service was good, the pizza was good, and the spaghetti all'assasina was good, but as they say in Bari, "they didn't give much." Given the price, I'd recommend increasing the portion of spaghetti a bit. 🍝😋 Recommended. I'll be back.

Pizzeria Chez Jo offers various Italian specialties, including large balls of fresh mozzarella, and varieties of pizza and pasta. I ordered the Fumè pizza and my wife ordered the spaghetti all’assassina, a spaghetti dish marked by the fact that it is cooked directly in a pan, not boiled. This gives the spaghetti a toasted texture and flavor. Additionally, the spaghetti is served in a slightly spicy and very flavorful sauce. This place is perfect for a family dinner.

It remains one of my favorite traditional restaurants in the city. Excellent service, I highly recommend the appetizers, first courses, and homemade desserts!!!

Family-run restaurant where you can eat specialties from the Apulian region such as the famous "Assassin" or, depending on the seasonality of the products, broad beans and chicory, orecchiette with turnips, vegetable soups, raw seafood as well as excellent and typical Apulian pizzas.

Always excellent service. In their variety, or land, or sea, the appetizers are always of a high level. Pizza always exceptional. First courses fantastic. Second courses of high quality.
