Let me start by saying that I already knew this place because I had eaten there this winter, I was happy to return because I had a good time even though I had reviewed that it was quite expensive, unfortunately they reconfirmed this treatment. I'm sorry because I don't discuss the quality of the products but we didn't eat gourmet dishes or even drink wine (not even dessert) and yet we paid as if we were in a restaurant with Michelen stars. So I'm sorry but it doesn't deserve 5 stars anymore, I'm done.

I go there every time I return to Bari.
At Carlo's you feel at home.
The food? Poetry;
Service? Excellent;
Prices? At Carlo's I don't worry about the price because when you eat well and are treated well the price is relative.

A good first impression. Seafood and Spaghetti all'assassina lived up to expectations. They served me the "taratuffi", it means that the supplier is not a banal mediator, but a professional looking for niche products for real people from Bari. Excellent service, waiters generous with advice, necessary to orient yourself when the customer does not know the restaurant well. So good

Conosco la pizzeria da anni e penso di conoscerne i punti di forza e non. I punti di forza sono la fantastica focaccia che viene offerta, l'assassina, alcune pizze (robiola e coppata su tutte) e i dolci. Non apprezzo la fretta e la relativa ansia che ti trasmette il personale che sembra vogliano liberare il tavolo anche se non c'è nessuno in attesa e i prezzi a volte esosi per alcune portate (un piatto di verdure grigliate 10 euro, per esempio) Ma se conosci, sai cosa evitare: ci tornerò sporadicamente come ci son tornata sinora.

I've known the pizzeria for years and I think I know its strengths and weaknesses. The strong points are the fantastic focaccia that is offered, the assassina, some pizzas (robiola and coppata above all) and the desserts. I don't appreciate the haste and relative anxiety conveyed by the staff who seem to want to clear the table even if there is no one waiting and the sometimes exorbitant prices for some courses (a plate of grilled vegetables 10 euros, for example) But if you know, you know what to avoid: I will return sporadically as I have returned so far.

A happy surprise, the restaurant is located in a not very central area of the city but is still well frequented. Polite and helpful staff. TOP killer!
