Cheterena In Brisighella

We had a great experience about 10 days ago, and we're going back today. I ordered pan-fried wild vegetables and cappelletti with truffle, both excellent. My husband had mixed crostini and gratinated vegetables...he was also very satisfied. The olive oil they produce is excellent...as I wrote at the beginning, I've been back and am updating my review now after seeing the place better. Inside, it was a bit chilly; we were in the largest room. If I could give one piece of advice, I'd light the fireplace; it's quite atmospheric. The lady serving is welcoming, and the place has a rustic, informal trattoria feel, which I like. Today we tried mixed mushroom crostini, which were delicious, and ricotta tart with truffle, delicious!!! Then we had two orzotti with sausage and porcini mushrooms...excellent. Thanks to the restaurant owners.

Unfortunately, it didn't go well. We ordered two plates of cappelletti with ragù and received two plates of cappelletti with truffle. I even accepted the exchange, but my wife, who doesn't like truffle, asked for the ones with ragù. However, both her first and second courses were so overcooked and mushy that they had lost their mince. I'd say that in Romagna, they're unpresentable. Also, they're a bit sparse and a bit overpriced.

As always, impeccable kindness and good food are their forte.

A simple but beautiful trattoria. Our dinners this summer were fabulous. Excellent food and good prices. Highly recommended. We ate passatelli with truffles, lasagna, tagliatelle, crostini, and cold cuts with cheeses, wild boar, and desserts. The wine was all good, and the owner was friendly and kind.
