The rigatoni with oxtail sauce and saltimbocca were exquisite. Given the dishes being served, it would probably have been worth trying the entire menu.

A real, rustic, authentic place. As a Milanese, it was lovely to be a part of it for an evening, highly recommended by Roman friends. I also tried the tongue, tender, delicious, boiled... and who would have thought I'd like it? Keeping things simple, the carbonara was obviously fantastic, but I recommend the fried foods, and if you have room, ask for some slices of cheese: it will be served with special jams.

Amazing food! The best carbonara I've ever had. A very wide selection of traditional and typical Roman dishes. Of the main courses, the Fegato ai Ferri was the best – as tender as butter. The service was excellent. Thank you so much, we'll be back.

A restaurant that seems to transport you back to another era: an intimate atmosphere with a fireplace, traditional Roman dishes that are rare to find nowadays, all delicious! Family-run, with extremely friendly staff, always ready to answer any questions you may have. An authentic and truly special experience! Highly recommended!

05/01/2026: Very good service and food aswell. I am very pleased with the waiter and the restaurant in general. 😀 Alvee is very attentive and extremely nice. Very good custome service. I ate pasta with bacon and aswell as artichokes, very high quality on everything aswell as Gluten Free food. 10/10

22/04/2025: Creo que este era mi restaurante favorito en Roma. Yo tenía pasta all'Amatriciana que era perfecto, y otros tenían carbonara, filete y pomodoro. El personal era increíble. El vino fue uno de los mejores que tuvimos todo el viaje también.
27/02/2025: Il proprietario oltre ad essere una persona molto ospitale, è molto preparato su quanto ha nel menù e sui vini. Abbiamo cenato in modo sublime, tutto era squisito e di ottima qualità. Se andate a Roma è d'obbligo passare da Mario.
