I had dinner with my husband at this quaint Thai restaurant. The food was good and plentiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a real discovery.

This restaurant is close to my house but I only recently discovered it. Authentic Thai restaurant. Excellent value, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. Kudos to the staff.

An unpleasant experience, unfortunately very different from usual. I've dined at this restaurant three or four times over the past three years, and I've always considered it a good place for Thai cuisine in Rome. The staff has always been friendly in the past, and I have fond memories of this place, which is why I'm very sorry to write such a negative review after such an experience. I ordered Pad Thai, which is usually tasty and well-balanced; this time, however, it was flat and had too much tamarind sauce. The portions were quite small—no complaints about the prices, which remain very fair—but the overall quality of the dish was disappointing. For dessert, I chose sticky rice with mango, my favorite Thai dessert. Unfortunately, the mango was unripe, cold, and sliced ​​very thin, identical to the mango salad I'd had as an appetizer. When I pointed this out, the waitress offered to remake it. At that point, I clearly stated that if they didn't have ripe mangoes, I'd rather not—not because of the cost, but simply because this dessert, by tradition and taste, should only be served with very ripe, cold mangoes. Despite this, she returned shortly thereafter with a new, virtually identical dish, but this time completely microwaved, even with the mango piping hot and the plate steaming hot. I thanked her and reiterated that I didn't want it, but the waitress insisted repeatedly. Up until this point, her tone had remained polite, until a second waitress intervened abruptly and aggressively. This second employee stated that she had made the dessert herself and categorically denied having reheated the mango. She accused me of calling her a liar, which I never said, and of going crazy. She also changed languages ​​to speak to me in English, which, frankly, I didn't understand, and at that point I asked her to speak in Italian, since her Italian was better than English. She got offended again, claiming I'd insulted her by saying I didn't speak English. It was at this point that I realized the poor girl wasn't mentally stable—she just wasn't well. From there, the situation escalated: the waitress (not ours) came very close to me, touched me, and kept raising her voice, while I simply kept repeating that I wanted to pay and leave. I felt physically uncomfortable and scared. I grabbed my phone to try to record it—unable to do so due to the tension—and this gesture only made her finally back down. Thank goodness! At the cash register, the confrontation continued: the waitress continued yelling, told me that "people like me are the reason others commit suicide," and threatened to call the police. I was asked to show my phone and delete the video (which I hadn't actually recorded). After about ten to fifteen minutes of arguing, my friend and I finally managed to pay and leave. There was no charge for dessert, which I appreciated, but the experience remains extremely unpleasant and difficult to forget. Until then, I'd always enjoyed my stay here, so I'm giving it three stars only because of the fond memories and the kindness I'd always encountered in the past. However, after this evening, I can't in good conscience recommend the place.

Excellent food, authentic Thai flavors. I've only ever had Tom Yum this good in Thailand. We arrived for an impromptu family lunch and were greeted with kindness, with special attention to our little girl. The woman who runs the restaurant is very kind and tries to accommodate everyone's needs. We'll be back to try other dishes.

How good! The best Thai restaurant in Rome! Their Padthai and homemade ravioli are delicious. We know Thailand and Thai food very well, and I have to say their Padthai is even better than the ones I've had there. We've been going to this restaurant for years now, and this very late review is truly deserved! Well done, you're a real asset.
