I learned a little Chinese a while ago. Although this is a Korean restaurant, I heard it was run by a Chinese person, so I greeted them in Chinese. The counter clerk just told me to speak Korean, which was a little embarrassing, but I thought it was consideration for me because I'm not good at Chinese. However, when I left after eating, I said in Chinese, “All the food here is delicious,” but my pronunciation was not very good, so the staff member said, a little annoyed, “Please speak in Korean.” When I said this, everyone who accompanied me was surprised and embarrassed. I was upset and said, "I wanted to try using Chinese. I also wanted to wish you a happy new year and make a lot of money (Chinese greetings)." Our group was planning to go to this restaurant again, but we changed our minds and didn't go again. The food was delicious, but the irritating female staff member's attitude was unpleasant. And the female employee who said she was Chinese thought she spoke Korean perfectly, but as a Korean, her pronunciation and nuances were awkward for me to hear. The attitude of treating other people’s kindness carelessly was very unpleasant.

Korean restaurant on Via Bayo The food is presented neatly and deliciously. The workers are friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

Previously the service left something to be desired because the waitress was a bit grumpy, but yesterday I found an older but very kind gentleman. I like South Korea, it fascinates me, perhaps also because BTS makes me happy... Well , I'm not an expert in Korean gastronomy and it's difficult for me to give advice about it but every time I've gone to this restaurant I've found several Korean customers and this must also say something... the pork al kimchi...highly recommended

Ottimo cibo coreano. Piatti abbondanti. Abbiamo mangiato gli gnocchi di riso , un secondo piatto di carne di mais le è kimchi , e la famosa pancetta . Tutto accompagnato da piccoli assaggi di verdure.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chang Bai Shan Korean restaurant and I must say that the experience was truly satisfying. The Korean fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, with perfect breading and a tasty sauce. The kimbap was fresh and well-balanced, while the ravioli was filled with authentic flavors and expertly prepared. The Korean BBQ was a delight, with perfectly grilled meats and well-matched toppings. Makgeolli, a traditional Korean alcoholic drink, added a special touch to the meal, completing the dining experience. Finally, the samgyeopsal, with its slices of grilled pork belly accompanied by fresh side dishes, was simply exceptional. Overall, Chang Bai Shan offers excellent Korean cuisine with a variety of well-prepared and flavorful dishes. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Korean cuisine.

15/11/2024: Locale minuscolo ed elegante su una delle vie più frequentate della movida monticiana. Pochi coperti a disposizione per cui è consigliabile prenotare visto che il locale dispone di una clientela affezionata anche se il grosso del movimento, in cucina a vista, è take away. Scelta del menù non vastissima, materie prime e atmosfera di nicchia, in particolare le zuppe e brodi vari, gustosissimi Il prezzo è molto alto per la quantità ma sicuramente in linea con la qualità fornita.
07/09/2024: una piccola Gemma nel centro di Roma Ristorante giapponese a Monti che da anni propone ottimi piatti della cucina giapponese🎏 Abbiamo preso per iniziare delle alici fritte e delle crochette di granchio. Buonissime le alici e superlative le crocchette. Veramente sorprendenti per gusto e cremosita le crochette. Ottimo anche il piu classico dei classichi: il californka maki. Raramente ne ho mangiato uno cosi gradevole e saporito. Abbiamo continuato con il futomaki hasekura. Un esplosione di sapori il futomaki che viene preparato con gran maestria in questa versione con piu pesce. Il non plus ultra è stata la selezione di maki, nigiri e gunkan (il mio preferito) con l’otoro, la parte piu pregiata della ventresca di tonno. Del burro che si scioglie in bocca, da leccarsi i baffi. Il gunkan con tartare di otoro e erba cipollina era sublime. Il locale è molto carino e ben arredato, e chi vuole puo sedersi al bancone per vedere lo chef all’opera. Hanno una buona selezione di vini e bolliccine, oltre che birre o sake e whiskey giapponesi. Grazie ai titolari e al personale che sono sempre molto gentili, cortesi e attenti. E grazie per averci fatto conoscere un whiskey giapponese affinato nel legno mizunara, il perfetto finale di un ottima cena. Ci rivediamo presto 😊

05/02/2025: We went to dinner with a Bangladeshi friend of ours who recommended and let us try typical Bangladeshi dishes... from samosas to beef biriany. I must say everything was very good and fast service. I went back to get a portion of beef bryani to take home. The only negative note was the cold air coming in from outside... I had to eat with my coat on
