Chalet Piereni In Tonadico

A beautiful chalet surrounded by greenery, with a stunning view, friendly staff, and good food. The only flaw (which unfortunately weighed heavily) is the complete lack of soundproofing in the rooms and the presence of rude guests who don't realize that the mountains are a place of silence and rest. Better soundproofing would make this property literally perfect.

Wonderful place, delicious food!

Recommended by a friend, we had lunch on Sunday, January 4th, at this stunning chalet with friends. The atmosphere is very welcoming, rustic, and nestled in a valley with breathtaking views. The staff were friendly and service was prompt. The dishes were delicious; the pork shank was highly recommended; it was fabulous. Prices were reasonable. They also kindly offered us a digestif. To reach the chalet, we parked near the LA RITONDA refuge and took a beautiful, easy walk of about an hour to the Piereni chalet. This walk through the countryside is highly recommended for anyone looking for a picnic. It's definitely an experience worth repeating. Reservations are recommended for dining at the chalet.

The dumplings were a little too small, but otherwise we had a good time: very friendly staff and good food.
