Beautiful place nestled in a stunning natural setting! It was quite crowded, being August 8th, and the service was a bit slow. Perhaps they were missing a cashier because the same person was working the dining room and the register. The bar service was also under pressure; an extra person was needed here, too. Otherwise, everything was fine!

Lunch overlooking the lake and the surrounding countryside is definitely a lovely experience; I recommend booking a table. The location offers both walks and relaxing moments in the sun or shade of the trees. It's a bit chaotic, as there are many families with children and pets. It's perfect for those who don't want to walk far and are happy to spend a day with their children.

Beautiful lake. We arrived from the Sentiero degli Gnomi in Pellizzano and returned to the car via Val di Piana-Ossana and then the bike path to Pellizzano. A wonderful day, excellent food.

Davvero purtroppo in calo a tutto campo. Peccato, posto e lago splendido. La ristrutturazione ha portato un po’ troppa modernità rispetto al rifugio storico, ma ci sta. Forse giornata no, ma pranzo decisamente discreto rispetto a tante altre volte. Prezzi in salita, prodotto e servizio in calo. Lunga attesa non motivata, visto orario e poca gente. Giunge a seguito un storico antipasto, dopo quasi 40 minuti un buon cervo ma con polenta e funghi davvero più che mediocri. Speriamo in una ripresa, visto la mia precedente recensione, altrimenti meglio un panino vista lago.

Locale moderno affacciato sul laghetto dei Caprioli. Menù tirolese leggermente ammodernato. Piatti buoni e porzioni più che dignitose, anche se alcuni sapori erano un po' blandi. Servizio rapido e cortese. Prezzi nella norma. Pecca finale il bagno intasato. Sfortunato.

11/06/2025: During a motorcycle trip, I stayed with a group for several days at the Hotel Paoli, which houses the restaurant. We were extremely satisfied with the food and service and can happily recommend it! Thank you so much for the friendly hospitality 🤩

15/07/2025: We reached the mountain hut with their shuttle from Pozza because we didn't have a 4x4 (it was February). The food was excellent, the portions generous, and the bill fair. I'd also add the courtesy and warmth of the atmosphere, which made the evening very enjoyable. A place we'll return to, perhaps multiple times. My compliments to the food, the service, and the owners!
