C'era una volta, Italia In Brindisi

Pranzo di Pasqua, è stato discreto, personale disponibile e cortese. Abbiamo mangiato un buon antipasto , due primi un pacchero con crema di calamari e pomodorini gialli molto delicato, tagliolini alla crema di asparagi e capocollo croccante di Martina, maialino in crosta alla crema cacio e pepe, volontà con crema di zabaione.

Insieme ad un collega di lavoro, siamo stati a cena in questo bellissimo locale nel centro storico di Brindisi, dove è possibile trovare parcheggio nei dintorni solo a pagamento purtroppo. Il personale risulta da subito essere molto attento, gentile e disponibile nel consigliare le pietanze e i vini da abbinare, quest'ultimi rigorosamente selezionati dallo chef e titolare del ristorante. La qualità offerta è davvero notevole a partire dagli antipasti della casa, 4 specialità di terra e 4 specialità di mare, molto variegati, gustosi e di ogni genere rispettando una cucina molto ricercata con abbinamenti di alto profilo culinario. Anche i secondi scelti, seppia e polpo alla griglia erano cotti e sevizi in manieta impeccabile. Abbiamo provato anche loro "Puddica" momto soffice e gustosa. Per concludere in bellezza, abbiamo assaggiato la loro crema catalana, sia classica che al bayles: superlative davvero! In abbinamento al nostro pasto, abbiamo preso un rosato dop "LEVERANO Articolo 21" sotto consiglio del gentile cameriere. Davvero buono. Il prezzo pagato, circa 50€ a testa, risulta essere comunque in linea con l'altissima qualità offerta dalla casa e sicuramente lo consiglio senza indugio a chi vuol provare una cucina ricercata e differente. Torneremo senz'altro anche noi per provare altre pietanze. Alla prossima.

We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened, but were asked to come back in 30 minutes because the chef was not there. We came back because we trusted the ratings. We ordered one appetizer, 2 primi piatti, and 1 main course. The appetizer of 8 types of traditional dishes in mini portions delighted us. It was interesting, very tasty, and rich, everything except the octopus, which was terribly tough. But when the other three dishes arrived, we were disappointed. The gnocchi with burrata had a very sour taste, or rather, the burrata was very sour, which is usually not the taste we know for that type of cheese, the tuna with some kind of crispy pistachio breading was the worst choice. We didn't like it at all, although the tuna was nicely grilled, the dominant flavor was, I guess, mustard, and everything didn't really smell good. The orecchiette was solid, but we've eaten much better in restaurants with much lower ratings. All in all, in our experience, an overrated place.

This little place is just a marvel! Good food, always very good customer care! I will definitely return

Small, but very cute. The food was fantastic, we tasted both land and sea dishes, absolutely excellent. Excellent quality/price ratio. We will be back

A great find on a rainy Wednesday evening. We were treated with perfectly cooked fish dishes and lovely wines.

What can I say, the waiters are attentive to everything and everyone, then the cuisine and the excellent raw materials, the meat is magnificent, now I leave the experience of going there to you.

Nice restaurant with Italian and steak dishes. The food is okay but not special. The local focaccias are delicious. When ordering, everything comes to the table at the same time. The staff is attentive and friendly. The free bread for which you pay the service fee afterwards is, like in many Italian restaurants, dry and you don't want to eat it. The house wine by the glass is fine if you don't want to order a whole bottle. The prices of food and drinks are very reasonable by western European standards.

Good food for a good price. Friendly staff. I went inside to go to the toilet and it's bigger than i thought. Very cosy. I come back when i return to Brindisi
