We were in this restaurant for my birthday on 4/05 well I have to say it was a fantastic evening. To start with the service was spectacular... The girls who served us were nice and good and the owner made us feel at home. The food was really good, 100% Genoese especially the pansoti, really special. The guys from Verona especially appreciated the basil liqueur and the wine and if we return to Genoa it will definitely be a must.

Given the positive reviews and the inviting word of mouth, we tried this place for a weekday dinner. The three stars for me were earned mainly by the kindness of the waiting staff, the first course (excellent) and the desserts. Everything else was nothing exciting. We had a problem with the appetizer (the Russian salad was sour and stinging, it was taken away immediately as soon as we pointed it out, with obvious apologies) and as for the overall dinner it did not reflect the positive comments that had attracted us. A slightly bad evening can happen to anyone, maybe we ended up in one of those... beautiful location and convenient position right in the center.

The trofie with pesto and the typical ragù are excellent.
Note of demerit for the girl who served the tables, never a smile and unpolite answers.

We had dinner in this place last night and, as soon as we entered, we were struck by the attention to detail in the layout of the room, so unique and pleasant!
Excellent welcome, efficient and kind staff, fast and clean service, nothing to say!
Delicious dishes from start to finish, we're sorry we weren't able to taste them all!
Wholemeal tagliatelle with tuna, lemon crumble and gold medal prescinseua, I've never eaten anything so good!
White and black ravioli with sea bass (if I remember correctly) and delicious bottarga, beautiful to look at too!
The rabbit was very tender and the roast beef melted in your mouth!
Moving on to the desserts: a leap into the world of pleasure, passing through tiramisu (there was also limoncello and peaches but we opted for the classic coffee one), basil and dark chocolate panna cotta and finally Chantilly cream with savory crumble and blueberries.
And to end on a high note: the coffee served with the mocha directly at the table, a touch of class!
Truly, a unique and highly recommended experience. We will definitely be back.

A very pleasant surprise!!! The seats were almost sold out but the owner, very kind, found us a place on a barrel used as a table with stools: very original. The place is familiar, welcoming and particular. The cuisine is excellent, the products are fresh and the proposals very inviting. The tripe with Genoese pesto was excellent!!!! A place you want to return to!!! Absolutely recommended!!

Siamo stati a cena in questa trattoria conosciuta attraverso un famoso programma televisivo.. spesso andiamo a provare i posti visti in TV con alterni risultati che stavolta sono stati pienamente soddisfatti.. personale gentile sorridente e disponibile. abbiamo preso due antipasti, tipici della cucina genovese, molto buona le torte di verdura e buono il fritto di cui i cuculi erano leggermente unti. A seguire un piatto di trofie al pesto molto buono e un piatto di stoccafisso accomodato abbastanza buono. Per finire panna cotta al basilico buona.. L’ambiente è molto carino e familiare ed i prezzi più che adeguati alla qualità del posto e del cibo… sicuramente torneremo
