I ate a margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella...expensive price (11€), very slow service...not very good pizza (I don't think they have a wood oven)...I don't think I'll go back...I'm sorry

01/09/2024: I confirm the positive ratings for this family-run place. Excellent linguine with anchovies and battered cod to try. A tribute to the mixed cup. Basic service but the quality of the fish overshadows.
27/08/2024: This little restaurant never gets boring! This year I tried a little bit of everything. Very fresh fish, fried crispy and piping hot. Quick service, courteous staff. Very convenient location: in front of the sea, Piazza Cab0to height. It doesn't accept reservations: I recommend going as soon as it opens, because after a while a nice queue starts to build up and the place is tiny. I can't wait to go back!!!! I especially recommend cuopparello with anchovies and calamari. But also pasta omelette and rice ball. Thank you!!!!! Third year we come to Gaeta: Mare fritto is a fixed stop!!!

19/08/2024: A truly positive experience ... on special occasions we tend to provide just enough service and an acceptable menu. However, in this establishment, Il Capanno, it was a more than excellent mid-August lunch, with a truly 5-star fish-based menu! Fast and active staff across the board, plentiful courses with refresher, air-conditioned environment and the price is truly super‼️ Beautiful experience.
18/08/2024: Well managed historic place, good pizzeria, good restaurant, excellent staff for availability and service
