The pizza was delicious, but it took a while. The restaurant was also very busy at the time. Service was okay, but always quite abrupt. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily! Guests after us had to be turned away.

Yesterday, during a downpour, we stopped here for dinner. The pizzas were excellent: flavorful but not overpowering, with a very light and delicious dough. The welcome was prompt, even though we hadn't booked, and the service was efficient and attentive to the needs of our little girl. Reasonable prices for pizza, dessert, and a drink.

Excellent food and very fast service. I highly recommend the fried fish, the best I've ever eaten. The seafood risotto and the calamari alla diavola are also excellent.

Everything was perfect! Kindness, speed, and friendliness are the strong points of the Cavallino Rosso staff. We chose both the pizza and the seafood menu, and we found everything excellent. The quality/price ratio, in my humble opinion, is unfortunately average with "current standards" and therefore not cheap, but it remains in line with competitors. Highly recommended.

Be careful when ordering takeout pizzas, as you might give them too much work to do. Unfortunately, I don't think they understand that a little friendliness never hurts! Despite this, the pizza is excellent, thin and with a slightly salty dough.

Delicious fish-based dinner. Everything was excellent, the prices were fair, the staff were friendly. I'm only giving 4 stars for the coffee. €2.50 for a coffee that I took back from the bar after leaving is "too much." I should point out that as soon as one was delivered, we returned it immediately because it was a bit too strong, but the next one wasn't great either! I would definitely go back.

03/10/2025: Everyone's always super friendly, the prices are fair, the service is fast, and Roberto (I don't know him personally, but I've heard that's his name) makes the pizza right in front of you. When I'm in Alghero, I always go there.

07/09/2025: A fantastic experience at Borgo di Mare: friendly and knowledgeable staff, sublime food—high-quality, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it.
03/09/2025: I hadn't dined at Borgo since it was renovated, so taking advantage of a quieter late-summer evening, I decided to try it with some friends. The location is very well-maintained, with wooden tables and benches giving way to more modern and elegant furnishings that blend perfectly with the splendid setting of Acciaroli's harbor. The new, fully open kitchen is also very attractive. I really enjoyed the appetizers, both raw and cooked, where I found great respect for the raw ingredients, which remain the protagonist even in the more elaborate dishes. For the first course, I opted for the linguine with prawns, a simple dish but truly excellent in flavor. The desserts also deserve special mention; we tried several, all very good (but if I could have, I would have eaten 12 ricotta flowers!). The value for money was good considering the location, service, and overall quality of the dinner.
