Beautiful and lovingly furnished castle from the 12th or 13th century. Ideal for groups who want to enjoy a very special ambience. The gastronomy was very good. A really great experience and many thanks to the whole castle team!

If you want to spend the night in a truly authentic castle, this is the place for you. While it's a few kilometers to the ski resorts (Speikboden, Klausberg, or Kronplatz), this hardly detracts from the experience. Only the historic beds in some rooms take a bit of getting used to for those over 1.85 meters tall. Innkeeper "Sigi" and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

23/05/2025: We felt very comfortable here and thoroughly enjoyed our time. You feel very welcome, the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. A beautiful new sauna area. The rooms were well-maintained and clean. The hotel is beautifully located, with numerous destinations within cycling distance. We were able to store our bikes safely in the underground car park. Great hiking trails start right from the hotel.
12/03/2025: We stayed 3 nights in the hotel with 2 children, the room was comfortable and very clean, close to all the slopes, the staff was very kind to fulfill all requests, we opted for half board, the food was truly excellent, the breakfast was plentiful with good products, the spa was brand new, clean with all the comforts to relax in, I would definitely go back.
