If you’re wandering around Trastevere and looking for a cozy spot, you’ve got to check out Casetta de Trastevere! It’s such a charming little place that really captures the heart of the area. From the moment we stepped inside we felt a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The dining room is adorable, brimming with personality and those quirky touches that give it a truly unique Roman feel. We decided to indulge in some pasta, and it was full of flavor.
But the cherry on top was the service! The staff were so friendly and attentive, making our visit all the more enjoyable. If you’re after a relaxed and memorable dining experience in Trastevere, you definitely shouldn’t miss this lovely spot!

Let's be honest, we only went because Augustarello had just closed the kitchen. We ate well, but the experience was different. It was a fatal flaw not to offer a complimentary amaro/limoncello, given that we were with American friends who couldn't taste the authenticity of Italian food. "The owner isn't here, and we're not allowed to offer anything." This seems more like the response of a chain than an authentic restaurant.

Really nice restuarant. We got greeted with free champagne as we waited for our seats. The prices were the best I’ve seen in trastevere. The pasta was amazing!! As far as the seating, they have seating inside which is more spacious and cramped. Simply, just ask to sit indoors!

Wonderful and authentic restaurant with homemade specialties. We had a full Italian menu and everything was excellent. The staff was very friendly, especially Rio; we managed to get a seat outside, even without a reservation.

Nous avons goûté plusieurs plats traditionnels romains ; tout était absolument délicieux, notamment les croquettes de riz frits, les fleurs de courgettes farcies au fromage et les gnocchis sauce provola et gorgonzola . Nous adorons cet endroit ! Le service et l'ambiance étaient excellents, et nous le recommandons vivement. Un grand merci à Mory pour son service exceptionnel !
