If you're looking for a dairy with daily fresh products and a wide selection of cheeses, mozzarella, burrata, and other delicacies, don't miss Ruggeri on Via Visconti. Be careful, especially on Saturdays, when Borgo Vittoria hosts an all-day market, as there can be a long line. Highly recommended.

Excellent mozzarella and burrata. Tasty and not bland like many others...I recommend it. She's good and helpful. I haven't tried anything else so far.

Mozzarella and other daily products (processed only in the morning) should be eaten on the same day they are produced to fully savor their firm, slightly salty texture. The following days, they gradually lose their firmness and flavor. The staff has proven attentive and courteous to all customers.

I just got back from Campania, and I was craving mozzarella. I ordered: A braid: spectacular texture, super chewy, like mozzarella from the south, excellent flavor. The mozzarella melted in my mouth. The smoked scamorza had a texture I'd never tried before and a flavor I'd never experienced before. The ricotta literally tasted like milk. 🫠 Too good. Caciocavallo (not the sweet kind) was delicious. I also tried the aged ricotta (soft), which had a super strong flavor and, as the girl recommended, should be used sparingly on crostini or in the sauce. (I don't recommend it if you like delicate flavors; if you want an explosion of flavor, you MUST try it.) Fair prices. The girl who served me was super kind and explained everything I asked for in detail, giving me good advice. I'll definitely be back. It's a must-try. Next time, I'll take photos of the products, if I don't gorge myself first.

I was recommended the stracciatella, and I'd actually say it's very good. I haven't tried the rest, but the mozzarella they make is definitely good too.
