I'll start with the least pleasant and end with the best. This hotel absolutely needs to be renovated because it has enormous potential. The staff is truly lovely. But our room was next to the kitchens, so it was poorly insulated. And aesthetically, it wasn't great. Let's move on. The Alghero district is really very pleasant and enjoyable in the evening because it's very lively. You have to walk to get there. Taking the car would be a shame. The beaches aren't great, however... you have to take the car and drive a few kilometers to reach slightly nicer beaches.

A wonderful experience. We received exceptional treatment, and the hospitality is a hallmark of Villa Piras. The staff knows the area well and recommended the best places to visit. The location is truly strategic, with plenty of parking available. Five stars, to say the least.

Comfortable rooms, good location. Eccentric staff. Mediocre breakfast, barely any air conditioning. Entrance fee. I'd stay here again if they offered a decent breakfast.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the old town, and the room was clean and functional. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was wonderful, but Massimiliano stood out — he went out of his way each day to offer advice and local insight. Thanks to his recommendations and help with reservations, we enjoyed two of the best meals we've ever had in Europe.

A modern hotel, a 20-minute walk from the historic center, with a private paid garage (reservation required in advance). The common areas are pleasant and well-kept. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms are clean but lack the amenities you'd expect for the price (there's no space to put your suitcase, the shower is very small and has no place to put toiletries, there are no hangers, and the closet is very small).

The hotel is conveniently located for reaching the center of Alghero with a pleasant, scenic walk of about 20 minutes. The reception and breakfast staff were helpful and welcoming. Upon arrival, we reported some issues with our room, and they immediately fixed them. The breakfast was simple and basic. Free parking is available on the street behind the hotel. We were able to park our car at any time. Recommended!

A delightful property in a beautiful location. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were always helpful and very welcoming. They even allowed us to have breakfast (delicious and plentiful) outside of regular hours, as we had a very early flight. The manager was extremely kind, friendly, and extremely professional. Excellent stay, we'll definitely be back!

Nice place with lovely people located on a 15 minutes walk to the centre of the city. Good choice.

5-night stay in the first week of July, booked well in advance given the excellent value for money, especially for the almost central location with respect to the beach and seafront of the center of Alghero and the historic center with typical clubs and taverns that we could only reach with a 15/20 minute walk! Welcoming climate and atmosphere from all the hotel staff, abundant and varied breakfast, availability of a hydromassage on the panoramic terrace at a modest price and accessible to all. Room serviced and equipped with air conditioning, with the convenience of being able to access in our case the sunny and airy balcony for a breath of fresh air during the day! Convenient garage for the car, with access key at check in, located at the back of the structure and super functional given the limited parking possibilities in the area and especially for the high temperatures during the entire stay in Alghero it was convenient to find the car in the cool. We will return, in a few years and perhaps giving greater importance to the coves to visit in addition to the beaches already visited in these 6 Sardinian days.
