26/04/2025: Impeccable "il Monsignore" restaurant, a historic residence "Santa Cristina" completely restored and immersed in greenery and peace. We went for lunch. I didn't know this sophisticated, elegant and refined location. Three couples accompanied by a traditional menu on that day. But chef Alessandro will also amaze you with his sophisticated dishes, Gourmet because he is always looking for innovation. Friendly and professional wait staff.
Each course was a positive explosion of flavours.
I'm not going to list all the many courses but I can only tell you that lunch started with an excellent aubergine parmigiana accompanied by
freshly made bread. What can we say about the amazing paccheri with ragù, so appreciated that they even offered us an encore. We could only end the lunch with an excellent one
baba. An experience to absolutely repeat.
03/04/2025: Passing through Venafro we stopped for lunch in this restaurant, an event location, with a well-kept outdoor space, embellished with various tree species including weeping willows.
We were pleasantly welcomed by the owner Gabriella, a young entrepreneur who, together with her husband, has been managing this restaurant since 2018.
We started with a welcome prosecco accompanied by original and tasty finger food, including a curl of cherry tomato butter, an oil mousse, some olive bread made by them, served hot and other delicacies... As an appetizer Gabriella recommended the savory puff pastry filled with cod mousse, on a broccoli base, a real delight! Followed by a cod fillet with cherry tomatoes and garlic on a bed of asparagus and a portion of monkfish with grains, on a bed of agretti. The food was good and well plated as well as well presented by Gabriella. We had a great time, great!
