Casa Dell'Orso In Palena

Lunch in the cloister of a former convent is an experience. Courteous and punctual service, an excellent meal.

A true agriturismo! A fantastic location with breathtaking views and a lovely village. We booked a table for 15 people at lunchtime and we had a nice day! But in my opinion the dishes aren't the best quality. The pallotte calcio e ove were cold and no cheese with mostly bread. The arrosticini were overcooked and the lamb was a bit too row. The desserts was ok. We paid €50 per person and I think it was a bit too much.

A beautiful location, and excellent food at reasonable prices. The service in the dining room was a bit lacking; we had to go looking for the waitress in the kitchen a couple of times. Still, this restaurant is worth a visit. It's a shame that the bear museum next door is closed between 1 and 4 PM; we were supposed to visit after lunch. Perhaps to balance the two, you could get there an hour earlier and go before sitting down at the restaurant.

Excellent pizza, nice and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff… highly recommended!!!
