Casa de Mar In Campofilone

The food is quite good but the waiting times (for a table of twenty people) are a bit too long. The first course arrived at 4.

Casa de mar is a seafood restaurant nestled in an enchanting place right by the sea. It has been under new management for some time and the new owners are trying to keep the business going as best they can. However, everything remains suspended halfway between the exclusivity of the location and the reality of a place that after years would need a radical renovation and the compromise of tourist menus that are useful for survival but harmful (in my opinion) for the strategic positioning that the place should have. In an evening for two we had a complete appetizer for two (unfortunately the raw fish is no longer available, another indicative lack..) and a portion of scampi in salt (6) for the second course. Bottle of bubbles, water, coffee and liqueur 100 euros for two. Enough compared to the quantity and quality of the dinner (the fish was fresh but for example among the appetizers many were the same ones that were served in the complete tourist menu for 30-35 euros, nothing particularly captivating or imaginative). The waiter was in his first days of work and in fact did not know the menu. In short... a dream suspended in half...

Every time I go I feel a sense of peace. Highly recommended

I don't know, I wasn't here, I was just walking along the beach, the season hasn't started yet, but in principle, like all cafes on the shore, like sharpening or the Black Sea shore, there is nothing different, only the cuisine is Italian and that's it

We ate well. The cuisine has highs and lows, the complete starters are plentiful but average. The mussels and the first courses were very good. The portions are generous so we didn't get second courses. The environment has some points of neglect. There is a dog, I think it belongs to the property, who comes to wander among the tables. Overall to recommend and try

Un delizioso ristorante poco distante dall'uscita Pedaso, autostrada A 14, posto sulla spiaggia del lungomare tra Campofilone e Pedaso. Un vero gioiello della ristorazione e dell'accoglienza!! Un luogo dove trascorrere ore piacevoli davanti al meraviglioso mare adriatico, coccolati dalle proposte dello chef. Un menù ricco di proposte, tra antipasto, primi e secondi di mare... Noi come prima volta abbiamo optato per i classici, ma fantastici, spaghetti con le vongole : un piacere per le papille gustative, pasta cotta a puntino, condimento eccellente con vongole freschissime in abbondanza. Una porzione generosa!! Per secondo abbiamo preso la frittura di pesce, con calamari tenerissimi e gamberi freschi. La cottura era perfetta, asciutta e bollente. Come contorno le verdure grigliate, saporite, condite con dell'ottimo olio EVO. Proprietario cortese e attento a ciascuna richiesta. Cura dei tavoli apparecchiati con stile ed eleganza. Magnifici sottopiatti e bicchieri. Ogni angolo di questo piccolo ristorante mostra l'amore che il proprietario pone nella cura del suo locale.. Angoli arredati con mobili d'altri tempi che rispecchiano la tradizione del luogo, come la vecchia Madia, mobile che non doveva mancare nelle storiche case, dove all'interno veniva impastato il pane e tenuto a lievitare l'impasto !! La vecchia credenza della nonna, altro elemento caratteristico d'arredo, messo in bellavista... Noi torneremo molto presto a "Casa de Mar" e consigliamo vivamente a tutti gli intenditori questo particolare ristorante! Ahhhh dimenticavo... altro punto di forza da evidenziare è l'Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Promosso a pieni voti!!!!

A delightful restaurant not far from the Pedaso exit of the A 14 motorway, located on the seafront beach between Campofilone and Pedaso. A true jewel of catering and hospitality!! A place to spend pleasant hours in front of the wonderful Adriatic Sea, pampered by the chef's proposals. A menu full of proposals, including starters, seafood first and second courses... For the first time we opted for the classic but fantastic spaghetti with clams: a pleasure for the taste buds, pasta cooked to perfection, excellent seasoning with Fresh clams in abundance. A generous portion!! For the second course we had the fried fish, with very tender calamari and fresh prawns. The cooking was perfect, dry and piping hot. As a side dish, grilled vegetables, tasty, seasoned with excellent EVO oil. Courteous owner and attentive to each request. Taking care of the tables set with style and elegance. Magnificent placemats and glasses. Every corner of this small restaurant shows the love that the owner puts into taking care of his place. Corners furnished with furniture from times gone by that reflect the tradition of the place, such as the old Madia, a piece of furniture that should not be missing in historic houses, where the bread was kneaded inside and the dough was left to rise!! Grandma's old sideboard, another characteristic furnishing element, placed in full view... We will return to "Casa de Mar" very soon and we highly recommend this particular restaurant to all connoisseurs! Ahhhh I forgot... another strong point to highlight is the excellent value for money. Passed with flying colors!!!!
