Casa Ciuca is simply fantastic! The service is impeccable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's located in a great location near the Bard Fort. Excellent Aosta Valley cuisine at reasonable prices.

We chose this restaurant by chance. The dishes were excellent; lard with honey, walnuts, and chestnuts was a true delicacy. We then ordered the polenta with venison and beef. Truly excellent and plentiful. Highly recommended.

We had dinner last night and I had a terrible experience. Since I don't eat meat, I basically had to choose between two dishes. A very poor menu!
I asked if I could kindly have some grilled vegetables, but they told me they don't have vegetables except for side dishes. In the end, I chose an appetizer, basically two pieces of goat cheese covered in burnt bread. I had to eat some mushrooms from my husband's plate to avoid leaving hungry. Never again...

My family and I went to eat at this inn after visiting the fort and the village of Bard. Even though it was well past lunchtime, we were greeted and served very kindly. Typical dishes, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, carbonada with polenta and Valdostana cheese, house wine—all delicious. Fast service and excellent prices for the quality of the food. I recommend it.

I'm reviewing the restaurant (we didn't stay): always an excellent choice in Bard! Friendly staff, excellent menu featuring local dishes, generous portions, and quality ingredients. Simple and charming atmosphere, just steps from the fort and in the heart of Bard. Reasonable prices, and a complimentary digestif from a selection of local grappas and bitters.

We spontaneously entered the restaurant on the way down from the fortress and discovered a wonderful restaurant, courteous service and wonderful food, and an openness to tailor the meal to our requests. Highly recommend

We only stopped for lunch. The staff was helpful, courteous, and polite.
Not a huge selection of dishes, and some prices were a bit high, but for what we ate, everything was good. The dining room is small but well-managed.

Situé à proximité du fort de Bard, dans la rue piétonne montante, ce restaurant mérite le détour. Accueil et service très sympathique. Le patron, parlant très bien le français, nous donne toutes les explications des plats proposés. Très bonne cuisine locale, copieuse et à prix très correct. Les tables sont disposées de manière typique. A découvrir.
