Restaurant located in the characteristic village of Bard, with a typically mountain atmosphere, the staff is very courteous and the service is quite fast. We appreciated the first courses: tajarin with ragù and gnocchi with wild boar ragù, both good. The polenta with wild boar is also decent. The bulk wine was less convincing, but overall we were satisfied.

We had lunch and had a very good time. The owners were very friendly and kind, the banter and the Valpellinentze soup were excellent, but the other diners also enjoyed it.

What a treat!!! I ordered tagliolini al ragu di salsiccia e château d'arnad and it was really delicious! The staff takes great care of us! If you come to visit Bard's Ford, come and eat here with your eyes closed 😎

In gita e in visita al Forte di BARD ho chiamato un giorno prima per prenotare 6 persone. Abbiamo trovato tutto ben organizzato. Location piccola ma funzionale. Personale accogliente. Abbiamo preso una degustazione di Lardo di Arnad e di formaggi, la fonduta con polenta mocetta e crostini, la polenta con cervo, la polenta con cinghiale e la zuppa valdostana con pane raffermo. Vino sfuso locale. Tutto molto buono.

Ristorante ai piedi del forte di Bard. Abbiamo preso un antipasto (lardo) e tre piatti diversi (polenta concia, fonduta e gnocchi) ed un dolce (tiramisù) tutti ottimi.
