Casa Ciuca In Bard

My family and I went to eat at this inn after visiting the fort and the village of Bard. Even though it was well past lunchtime, we were greeted and served very kindly. Typical dishes, gnocchi with wild boar ragù, carbonada with polenta and Valdostana cheese, house wine—all delicious. Fast service and excellent prices for the quality of the food. I recommend it.

I'm reviewing the restaurant (we didn't stay): always an excellent choice in Bard! Friendly staff, excellent menu featuring local dishes, generous portions, and quality ingredients. Simple and charming atmosphere, just steps from the fort and in the heart of Bard. Reasonable prices, and a complimentary digestif from a selection of local grappas and bitters.

We spontaneously entered the restaurant on the way down from the fortress and discovered a wonderful restaurant, courteous service and wonderful food, and an openness to tailor the meal to our requests. Highly recommend

We only stopped for lunch. The staff was helpful, courteous, and polite. Not a huge selection of dishes, and some prices were a bit high, but for what we ate, everything was good. The dining room is small but well-managed.

I'm rating the restaurant where I found a few typical Aosta Valley dishes, well cooked and balanced in flavor.

A small and charming restaurant in the heart of Bard, the menu features typical local dishes, all delicious, made with top-quality ingredients. The service was fast, friendly, and courteous. The value for money is excellent. Reservations are only available for dinner, while the restaurant is open for lunch from noon onwards. Highly recommended.

We had lunch here after visiting the Bard Fort. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, and we left the restaurant rolling! 😂

Situé à proximité du fort de Bard, dans la rue piétonne montante, ce restaurant mérite le détour. Accueil et service très sympathique. Le patron, parlant très bien le français, nous donne toutes les explications des plats proposés. Très bonne cuisine locale, copieuse et à prix très correct. Les tables sont disposées de manière typique. A découvrir.

Un tranquillo mercoledi di Maggio ,dopo la visita al forte decidiamo di fermarci in questo ristorante, veniamo accolti con molta cordialità, c'è un pò di aria altrimenti sarebbe stato bello mangiare in uno degli angoli simpatici ricavati all'interno di questa casa, magari sulle scale . La saletta è ordinata e linda, dividiamo il pecorino impanato e il tagliere di formaggi con il miele, in linea con le aspettative formaggi a km zero buoni e stuzzicanti La polenta è ben fatta , compatta piena di sapore, calda , sapore unico di farina sempre più difficile da trovare, il tutto si amalgama con la carbonada ,stufato tipico valdostano speziato, in maniera impeccabile. Chi era con me ha preso la polenta concia, piatto unico buonissimo Una barbera sfusa ha innaffiato un ottimo pranzo valdostano Conto da 30 euro a testa
