Cartola Caffè In Bologna

I sat at Caffè di Armani and experienced courteous and professional service, excellent coffee quality, wide choice and lots of tranquility. the prices are from Galleria Cavour, but we know it and I know it does. Touristy. No, I would advise tourists to avoid Galleria Cavour, and enjoy Bologna, if they then want to take a walk to admire the luxury then ok.

I went to Emporio Armani on a Saturday morning, beautiful location under the Cavour gallery, friendly and professional staff, excellent cappuccino but the cream croissant disappointing (there is better).

Stunning place in the middle of the Cavour gallery in Bologna surrounded by luxury and elegance shops. We go inside the restaurant with many expectations and are served menus by the attentive and efficient room service. we opt for traditional choices: platter of cold cuts and cheeses, tagliatelle with meat sauce and tortellini in broth. Once we have ordered lunch we are offered some buffalo mozzarella foams and one of carrots and sesame. The main dishes arrive quickly and carefully prepared by the chefs. Tortellini in broth excellent both in cooking (al dente) and in its broth very close to the Bolognese tradition. In my opinion, the tagliatelle were a little too dry and didn't seem to mix well with the ragù. In short, the experience of having eaten in a renowned restaurant from a very famous brand remains but if this leads to a mediocre experience it is better to stick to the traditional trattorias in the center PS: if you decide to go to the bathroom, equip yourself with a pocket torch as there is no lighting.

Perfect experience. Impeccable preparation and care of raw materials. Excellent quality. Friendly, well-prepared and kind staff like you rarely encounter. Delicious dishes from meat and fish starters, to the first course, to the second course always meat/fish... all delicious and combined with ingredients and flavors different from the saloto, or classic but reworked flavours, explosive flavours. Refined and elegant environment, perfect. Note to the coffee that, although it may seem trivial, but not for me who am a tireless lover and connoisseur, it was very good. We'll be back

We passed by this café last year month of July during me and my husband’s first wedding anniversary buying gifts for each other in the Galleria Cavour. We had a dinner reservation in another restaurant nearby but it was a little early so we decided to do some aperitivo in this café. For its name and for the amount we are paying, we were just more than happy to sit down, drink our cocktails while chewing on some nuts and chips taking pictures but unexpectedly they started handing out more apetizers. More and more came out and we were just a little bit embarassed to question if those apetizers were included in the aperitivo and so we just ate. Me and husband just thought to ourselves that since it’s our anniversary maybe we can spend a few euros more. Me and my husband were taking pictures when a lady staff came to us and willingly took pictures for us. There was no one in the café besides us and she happily made it seem like a photoshoot, shots taken from every angle, far and near. We were laughing and it is needless to say that we enjoyed every moment of our short stay. Upon paying the bill me and my husband were very surprised that it was just indeed the drinks we need to pay while all the other sets are included. Since then we were more than happy to come back for any future celebrations we have. Fast forward, I am now pregnant with our first child and would want to do an intimate gender reveal with just me and my husband. It is needless to say that I only contacted this café asking if they will be more than available to accomodate are cute request to which they also enthusiastically responded and so we confirmed our reservation for the dinner of Valentines Day 2024. A few days to Valentines they sent out the menu for the night to which I found a small modification that is needed to be made because of my food restrictions being pregnant that they comfortedly accepted. They also mentioned already having a plan to surprise us for the gender reveal and at this point me and my husband were just more than excited! During the night of Valentines, we were the first ones to arrive and all staffs greeted us warmly even lighting up a candle upon seeing us being seated. Unbeknowingly to us, we thought it was just a simple scented candle but it was actually what they indicated in the menu as the first serving, truffle candle with pan brioche! We were shocked and thrilled and needless to say once again, every single plate were so delicious! Nearing the end of the course, the capo sala asked us if we were ready for the main event and HELL YES! He brought us these beautifully made desserts and he even proposed himself to take a video for us for the gender reveal and yes, both me and my husband cried! Kudos to every staff member especially to the capo sala who made us feel that even him was excited for us and was also anticipating to do this cute event for us. We really appreciated it! Also, to the lady staff who was the reason we returned to this café, she may not remember us from a year ago but we definitely have a cute memory of her because of her gestures. Again needless to say, she was funny and accomodating still the night of our reservation! To the staff, please remember me and husband. We will make sure to come by once again with our little girl!
