All the desserts we tried during our 3-day vacation in Naples were excellent: pastiera with the scent of Naples... spectacular lemon cake, delicious pastries like everything else... coffee and cappuccino included! P.S. It's forbidden to drink American coffee in Naples! Top-notch friendliness and hospitality! Highly recommended!

Excellent pastries and excellent coffee! Definitely worth a try... The only flaw: there aren't many tables. An outdoor area would be perfect for enjoying a good coffee accompanied by fresh pastries.

The best sfogliatella of my life! My first time at Pasticceria Carraturo in Porta Capuana, and I already know it'll be a regular. Yesterday, I spent a day shopping and having lunch in Naples with my daughter: we left Rome specifically for this. The sfogliatella riccia is simply superb: all filled, with a crispy, perfectly thin pastry. The pastry is equally as delicious, filled and with a perfect crust, crumbly and delicate. And the coffee? The best I've ever had in Naples. Truly. A huge shout-out also to the owner and all the staff: kind, attentive, and with a warmth that makes you feel at home. Breakfast, lunch, and coffee after lunch... from now on, Carraturo is a must-try every time I visit Naples!

I ordered pastiera, casatiello, and sfogliatelle online. I must say that, to my great pleasure, it continues to maintain the same quality as always (many years ago, it was my obligatory gourmet stop in Naples). Excellent pastiera❗ sfogliatelle (unfortunately, the riccia doesn't stay fragrant after traveling), however, the inside is excellent, and finally the casatiello, although the original, well-made, and good raw material one isn't the one I love, namely the "cafone" one, that is, pizza dough worked with lard, pepper, and filling, which crunches when you bite into it and then you find the soft crumb where the aromas, flavors, and filling triumph... instead, the Carraturo one is the soft one, like a savory brioche 😭😭. Despite this, I repeat, excellent products, good flavors, and also with prices perfectly in line with the market. Overall, very good.

The coffee is good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The selection of pastries, at least during the week, is limited to the bare essentials, but that's pretty standard. The cakes on display are made traditionally, and the sfogliatelle are delicious. The only downside is the slightly above-average price.

Today I ate both the sfogliatella riccia and frolla. Congratulations, it's exceptional. But not just sfogliatella, they still make desserts naturally, with the flavor of what you buy.
