Carpe Diem La Pizzeria In Francavilla fontana

We visited this pizzeria on Saturday evening around 10:00 PM, and although the place was understandably packed, we were truly impressed by the organization. The staff was incredibly kind and courteous, something you absolutely shouldn't take for granted. The speed of service was incredible: in less than 10 minutes, we had pizzas at our table. The selection is vast, but above all, the food is truly delicious, and the value for money is unbeatable. We had a fantastic dinner without spending a fortune.

I went to this pizzeria last night. I'd been wanting to try it for a while, but I was really disappointed. We had an appetizer, a portion of fries, and two pizzas. When we ordered, we specified that we wanted the fries to arrive with the appetizer, but that wasn't the case. The fries arrived, and after more than an hour, the appetizer was cold, despite the waitresses trying to take our plates away twice, and we had to tell them each time we were waiting for the appetizer. The cold food arrived, but no one told us there was more, so much so that, considering the price, I was shocked by just one dish with some cured meats. Well, half an hour passed, and while we were already waiting for the pizza and bothering the waiters about the wait, the hot appetizer course arrived, again split into two portions, with 20 minutes between them. After another hour, if not more, the pizzas arrived. INEDIBLE, so much so that my partner, who never turns down pizza, almost completely left it alone. I had a 'Disarmante Bontà' and she had one with seafood and gorgonzola. Mine was almost loaded with toppings, so much so that it looked like a bowl of salad inside, while hers was topped with gorgonzola and seafood in oil (the kind you find in the supermarket, to be clear). It would have been better if they'd just put some shrimp and two mussels. I don't know whether it was a Saturday and the confusion (because the tables were literally emptying and filling up) or whether it's always like this. I'll definitely be back for the scrocchiarella tour. You really did change that inedible pizza. Excellent fries. A wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive to every need. The food was fresh and top-quality. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend trying the scrocchierella. I can't describe it enough; try it and believe it.
