What to say...???!!! – there are no words to express this disappointment, which is so negative when weighing the words expressed, as it is useless in the context.
I have been frequenting the Pasticceria Sant'Anna for several decades and not only that, the demonstration that it is always crowded with polite and understanding people of the work that the collaborators of the same Pasticceria carry out, no less than the Lady "at the CHECKOUT" who, excuse me the LADY in the first place and then you Mr Roberto without surname.!!!, if you have missed the GREETING that he usually gives and extends to all customers of any social class (I am not anyone's public defender, they give me useless criticism is annoying).
As usual, no one or few understand the commitment and mainly the STRESS of those who work and work.
I understand your discomfort in the lack of a GREETING, if I personally have the pleasure of always meeting you in the pastry shop, I will "gratify you with a warm hug" to compensate for the missed greeting.
I underline what has been said because "She" is the first person who utters sentences to people who have always given and are still giving the best of themselves to all the people who frequent said Pastry Shop, but coincidentally the same people are not thrifty or they are scarce in compliments, indeed they are full of PRAISE not only to those at the checkout but also to all the operational staff for their kindness and courtesy.
But as they say "not all donuts come with a hole" it can happen...., even customers or patrons don't get up in a good mood every day, they, their collaborators and owners in any case accept them trying to tone down the beginning or continuation of a day that started badly.
I allowed myself with great modesty and humility to ANSWER you, because I am an "experienced" person in this sector, I have 13 decades of practical experience in the field behind me, I have chewed the pavement to build myself in this sector, let's simply call it TOURIST, understanding and knowing everyone its branches of operation.
Collaborators are not SLAVES or LICKERS, those times are gone, for a "missed or missed" greeting there was no need for criticism, CRITICISM that disqualifies the customer, certainly not those who did not have time to greet it.
