Everything is delicious and of high quality, it's worth the hour's drive.

Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to try various types of pizza on the restaurant's menu; from the classic with a tube-shaped crust, to the wagon wheel, and finally, the double-baked pizza. I can definitely say that regardless of the type, Carlo Sammarco never disappoints. Over the years, my boyfriend and I have been to every pizzeria in Naples, including the most "famous," and I can sadly say that we've often been very disappointed, especially when you eat a good pizza at one place but don't have the same luck the next time, almost as if you were at a different pizzeria than the last. Sammarco is a guarantee, because every time we go, we already know that the pizza will be just as good as the last time, if not better. Beyond the quality of all the products, there are three things I greatly appreciate: • The humility of its founder, who, despite the fame of his pizzeria, is always there working on Saturday nights, with a big smile and the friendliness of someone who loves what he does. I love the fact that the menu is very varied and that they regularly create new products with seasonal ingredients (you absolutely must try the double-cooked "Pizzaiò"!). Another plus is that the line always moves quickly, given the size of the place and the speed of service. There's nothing better than being seated right away, even on a Saturday night. With absolute certainty, I can say that Carlo Sammarco is my top pizza favorite. I wish you continued success. See you next time!

Very large and elegant restaurant. The menu is comprehensive and varied, and the frittatas are excellent. When the pizzas arrived, they seemed rubbery and heavy, but once eaten, they were delicious and easy to digest. The wait staff was very friendly.

The pizza is very good, the dough is exceptional, and the place is beautiful. You can also make reservations, so that's a great thing.

The pizzas are overpriced (a Margherita costs €7), and they're not entirely worth the quality for the price. The pizzas are a bit undercooked when chewed, and you can taste the undercooked flour. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the way they manage prices based on quality is completely flawed.
