I went there on the recommendation of a friend. Truly a great experience. Very refined and intimate location. The cuisine is very refined. The flavors and dishes are truly unique. Then the presentation of the dishes. Spectacular. The chef. Kind and nice. I recommend it

Conosco Carlo da tempo ma devo dire che ogni volta è sempre una piacevole scoperta. Locale unico e particolarissimo. A volte difficile descriverlo, sicuramente da provare e rimarrete piacevolmente coinvolti !

It is the second time that we go to this restaurant, where chef Carlo prepares fantastic dishes for us, full of particular combinations and which amaze the palate every time. Very relaxing environment, service up to the level of the restaurant: very attentive to the customer and friendly. 5 stars well deserved!

We got this amazing restaurant recommended by a friend. And it was the perfect evening for us. We had a personal welcome and through the complete evening an excellent service. If you are in this restaurant, you will know it is not only Carlo, it's all the staff brining their passion into this place and giving you an outstanding experience. We had the private room in the wine cellar. This makes the experience even more extraordinary. The service was always around and helped us to find the right choice on the italian menu. But they were never obtrusive. The food was varied and you feel the love the kitchen brings into each and every meal they serve. So we can strongly recommended to visit Carlo and his team if you are looking for an outstanding evening in Savona. Thanks again to the full team for your efforts!

What a wonderful evening it was at Carletto. The ambiance is fantastic, the service personal and the food delicious! The restaurant is hidden in a narrow romantic alley in the old center of Savona and when you enter you are immediately welcomed by the special art objects that decorate the entire restaurant. The old crossbow ceilings contribute to an intimate and authentic atmosphere. Every dish was a party in itself and the chef took plenty of time to explain the dishes. A hidden gem in the old center of Savona, where not 1 but even two former Popes reportedly resided nearby. Truly an experience to experience when you are in Savona.

A culinary pearl in the center of Savona, a dream menu that plays with typical and unknown flavors for an unforgettable experience. Our dinner at Carletto was fantastic not only thanks to the carefully prepared dishes, but also thanks to the art gallery that surrounded us and the choice of music that served as the background during a dinner from a thousand and one nights. If only I could, I would give 6 stars to the atmosphere, the chef also takes the time to describe the dishes and their history, and I would recommend anyone to ask Carlo for wine advice, who is also an accompaniment expert. What can I say, we will definitely return during our next visit to Savona, because one dinner was not enough for us to savor all their dishes.

Very original, distinctive, original dishes, surprises. Quality/price ratio: correct.

After being number one in Savona We really had to try this out. It couldn’t be more sophisticated and the quality of the food were high standard. It was innovative and fusion like food. It’s hard to describe what we experienced and even if we went here 2 times the food was out of the ordinary. Maybe a bit out of our league because we like more home cooking but what we ate was definitely 5 star meals. I say that you definitely should go here if you want something different and out of the ordinary. I think that if someone from Michelin came here they would like it without a doubt. The price range was a little bit higher but I don’t expect anything less because of the quality. The chief and the waitresses were just wow. It made you feel like home in an instant. They described the food splendid even though they had to try to do it in English. One of the waitresses were really good at it because she had moved to Italy several years ago. They were nice and asked if everything were OK without being too much. I dearly recommend this place if you like innovative and if you are a gourmand. This is a good place to go!
