It was recommended to me, and perhaps my expectations were way, way too high. However, the cacio e pepe pasta wasn't bad. The fried artichoke was also good.

The atmosphere is very welcoming, refined, and elegant. There are three small rooms, with a total of 4-5 tables. The food is excellent. Chef Carlo kindly personally ensures that everything is to our liking. A guest with celiac disease is attentively looked after. Impeccable service. Fair quality/price ratio.

A historic location, charming from start to finish; an elegant, clean, and welcoming atmosphere; prompt and precise service; and helpful, polite, and efficient staff. The chef/owner is professional, knowledgeable, yet affable and courteous. The menu is unique and creative, featuring quality ingredients used in original yet always well-chosen and delicious combinations. The seafood spago is a specialty!

Sometimes in a certain type of restaurant the search for balance and refinement is not supported by truly satisfying and memorable flavors. At Carletto, however, I can say that I found certain dishes to be truly enjoyable! All carefully prepared and well-defined flavors. The prices are on the high end, justified by the quality of the cuisine, which however does not push towards particular levels of experimentation or sophistication. It is more of a proposal that aims at sincere satisfaction, without necessarily trying to amaze. The environment is welcoming, with a refined but not too formal atmosphere and furnishing choices, at times, even of character. Ryan, the boy who served us in the dining room, was attentive and smiling, helping to make the experience pleasant. Ultimately, it is a restaurant that I recommend to those who want to eat tastefully in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Well done!
