Caprice In Pescara

Excellent pastries, even the savory items are good quality and varied. The cappuccino is a bit less so, but I think that's common in the area. Where I come from, cappuccino is a cultural thing.

Everything was delicious, the place was clean and the staff was very friendly.

This pastry shop is a must-visit when visiting Pescara. From the window display to the interior, everything is well-crafted, elegant, and inviting. It's difficult to choose from the variety of desserts on display: everything, from those displayed in the long counter to the gift boxes, catches the eye and seems to beckon. My husband and I always opt for the "capricci," gelatos in various flavors and sizes, recognizable by their pointed tips. The staff's kindness is commendable. After purchasing these delicious gelatos, we were kindly invited to a table. We were delighted and grateful for their courtesy.

Everything in this place is 5 stars, so why 4? Because today I bought three Capriccios to take away (I've been dreaming about it for a month, but unfortunately I don't come to Pescara often) and, as usual, my taste was different from what I'd ordered. I called and they told me to bring it back for an exchange... I certainly don't bring it back half-eaten in the middle of Sunday lunch! They kindly offered to bring it back on Tuesday, if only I could, but still, let's be honest, who would leave a wonderful Capriccio uneaten? Thanks anyway, and see you next time!

Try the bombs or the ktafen, the coffee is delicious.

I'm addressing all those "CUSTOMERS" who have the courage to complain about lines to pay at the totem or to attack a Historic location with banal excuses like paying for table service or the supposedly poor quality of some products... Dear Customers, or so-called Customers, grow up!!!! and try to open your eyes so you can learn to appreciate the class, quality, and delicacy of the artisanal CAPRICE brand products, carefully curated one by one by Mr. Fabrizio Camplone and his wife Antonella. In other, more renowned Italian cities, you would pay much, much more for this kind of Confectionery History. Congratulations to Fabrizio, his wife, and his collaborators from a historic son of Pescara. Keep up the good work and forward with innovation and your great attention to detail, which, while winking at the past, always has one foot forward in the future.

A truly exceptional ice cream shop!

This pastry shop and ice cream parlor needs no introduction, a Pescara institution that continues to offer high-quality products. This time, however, I was disappointed by the service: handing customers a poorly patched container of ice cream with dirty paper in several places is behavior that doesn't reflect the establishment's reputation and the owner's respectability. I'll be happy to change my mind about the quality of the service, and I hope to do so very soon.

The Camplone name has been a guarantee over the years of fresh, delicious products, including sweets, cakes, and ice creams, which can be enjoyed sitting down or at the bar with an excellent coffee, cappuccino, or other treat.
