Caprice In Pescara

Excellent gelato, pastries and cakes. In my opinion one of the best if not the best in Pescara (and still in 2025!)

I am very attached to this pastry shop that I used to frequent when it was in the historic location in the center. The place is beautiful, welcoming, elegant and clean; as welcoming and friendly as the staff. We arrived here not by chance but specifically for dessert; unfortunately at that time the choice was not very varied and we chose some inviting bocconotti that although good, did not have that delicious filling typical of these fine Abruzzo sweets. We then had some cups of ice cream, that really excellent.

Delicious cappuccino and ice cream! The pistachio ice cream was just fire! The personal there was really polite too! And the cappuccino was one of the best in pescara so far! I really recommend it!

In Pescara it is a reference pastry shop. The owner, specialized in chocolate, has created various desserts including the Presentosa, a reinterpretation of the famous Abruzzo Parrozzo praised by D'Annunzio. The Presentosa has an excellent dough covered in spectacular chocolate. It has its cost but it is worth trying. The pastry shop also offers other excellent desserts, this year I decided to try the traditional panettone but I haven't tasted it yet so I won't say anything about it For the rest, a first-rate venue, well furnished and organised Trained and courteous staff Posthumous addition: without prejudice to my general opinion on this activity, I 'temporarily' reduce the stars because a few days ago I stopped by to taste a hot chocolate, given that the place is qualified for chocolate preparations. In short, the bartender took out a sachet of Ciobar, prepared it with too much milk at random, let's say, poured what went into the cup and the rest remained in his jug... as a child it was better with Nesquik... I was left speechless and I leave it as constructive criticism because I still can't believe it... moreover with the prices at which it was sold, not like a cheap bar...

Fabrizio Camplone ( Caprice) e’ sicuramente la migliore pasticceria e gelateria di Pescara , ma anche una delle migliori in Italia . Lo testimoniano i tanti riconoscimenti del gambero da molti anni .. Gelati di ottima qualita’ e con un assortimento notevole e gusti originali ( zafferano , pecorino e miele erc etc ) distribuiti su varie eccellenze locali e anche di altre regioni Panna finale ottima Davvero da provare 👍

The place is in a good location. Unfortunately, the organization is lacking. Some ice cream flavors are original and good. For pastries it's not bad, I expected more. Too much waiting for a cappuccino and little attention to the customer.

Mi sono ritrovato a fare colazione a Caprice da Fabrizio Camplone e ho un approfittato … zeppoline mignon e bombetta alla crema Insieme ad un ottimo caffe’ con panna .. La qualita’ dei prodotti usati e’ all’altezza della fama : crema e panna ottime e anche il caffe’ ben fatto Caprice e’ e rimane la migliore pasticceria e gelateria senza alcun dubbio Bravi
