A family atmosphere, incredibly warm people, and delicious wines (they also operate as a wine shop). The menu is short, with daily specials featuring local cuisine. We had pasta with shrimp and zucchini and tian, a local casserole made with potatoes, tomatoes, and fresh sardines. What sets this place apart is the wonderful service, which made us feel special. The hospitality and willingness to discuss food and wine, their knowledge of wine, and their ability to tell us about it (with very good English) were on a level higher than many Michelin-starred restaurants. They create a food culture that you want to participate in and meet everywhere.

Super cute little restaurant. It's a bit out of the way, but definitely worth it. The owner knows his stuff and is happy to tell you about the regional specialties. Also, try his homemade olive oil!

Who would have thought that this small restaurant, boasting its seafood sandwiches, could offer such high-quality cuisine? You might be surprised to see these five sandwiches for €15 displayed at the restaurant's entrance, featuring names from the Cinque Terre, but give in to temptation! They're original, well-balanced, and will give you the energy you need to get through the day!
The desserts are also not to be missed; the cheesecake is a delight, and the tiramisu is a must.
The icing on the cake is the staff, who are truly very friendly.
In short, don't hesitate to walk a little to reach this restaurant; you'll find sandwiches like no other.

I almost skipped this restaurant because of the limited menu, but I’m so glad I didn’t. The waiter really knew the food and recommended a dish that fit exactly what I was looking for: Cappun Magru di Genova. I’d never had it before, but it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve eaten in Italy. A regional specialty, beautifully prepared, and the accompaniments were just as impressive. I only wish I could go back again and again. Don’t hesitate—order it!

A very good restaurant, the guy is very handsome and attentive ~ the seafood is very delicious! There is no bad points at all! The toilet is also very clean! What's more worth mentioning is that there is no service charge, but I think it's worth it!

Delicious food and genuinely lovely service
We had such a beautiful meal at Cappun Magru. The food tasted home-cooked in the best possible way. Full of flavor, heart, and care. The wine was superb, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout.
They had gluten free bread.
I’m usually a bit skeptical of places with such high ratings, but in this case, it’s absolutely justified. Would definitely recommend.

¡Qué gran hallazgo! Un pequeño menú que cambia a diario, ya que es básicamente lo que el chef encuentra en el mercado y hace un plato como lasaña y luego cada porción se sirve con algunos otros lados encantadores como un plato entero. Sin duda vale la pena una comida aquí si estás en Manarola!

Sono stata in questo locale insieme ad un’amica di Udine e siamo state entrambe rimaste molto soddisfatte. Il cappun magro era eccezionale, il vino locale anche. Il tutto spiegato con passione dal giovane proprietario che ci ha raccontato la storia del piatto e di quello che abbiamo bevuto. Un posto che consiglio a chi non si ferma alle apparenze ma che apprezza l’essenza dei luoghi che visita
