A beautiful place. Very kind people, a blue sea with the Aeolian Islands in front of you, an enchanting terrace, a very tidy town, elegant and kind people. The restaurant was excellent. My husband and I were thrilled. I hope to return soon.

Beautiful natural location, nowhere in the world will you find such beauty.

I was here for a wedding in May and have now been invited to another in about a month. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious, but the service fluctuated tragically between excellent and passable. Considering my limited physical condition that day and the numerous trips between the various floors of the building, which is very difficult for someone with mobility issues, I was bounced from one floor to another several times for asking for coffee. Already at the end of the ceremony, when I asked for a coffee at the terrace bar, I was met with hesitation and the subsequent solution of paying for the coffee. I accepted and paid for my coffee, which apparently was an unusual request at midday. But it was also unusual after lunch, and several people at my table, at the end of the meal, were left waiting for coffee, repeatedly requesting it from various waiters who by then were ignoring us. We were subsequently sent to the first floor, to the terrace again, to the ground floor, and sent back to the terrace again. All this for a coffee! If you're expecting a wedding to start at 11:00 AM and end at 10:00 PM, you might expect your guests to ask for coffee. It would have been easier if the staff hadn't first abandoned us at our table without a word while we waited in vain, and then bounced us from table to table in a buck-passing fashion. It was a bizarre experience that makes me turn up my nose at the thought of going back.
