Siamo stati in questo ristorante sabato, il 28 giugno 2025, e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente meravigliosa.
Vorrei sottolineare in particolare la gentilezza e la professionalità del nostro cameriere, Dario. Fin dal primo momento ci ha accolti con un sorriso sincero e un’eleganza rara. Nonostante il ristorante fosse affollato, lui si è avvicinato a noi più volte, con garbo e delicatezza, per scusarsi delle piccole attese tra le portate — che, a dire il vero, non abbiamo nemmeno percepito come tali. Il suo modo di parlare, la cura nei dettagli e la sua attenzione ci hanno fatto sentire coccolati, come ospiti speciali. Un vero esempio di servizio impeccabile.
La cucina è stata all’altezza delle aspettative: pesce freschissimo, sapori bilanciati e piatti presentati con arte. Abbiamo apprezzato tutto, in particolare le roguse — anche se, se posso permettermi una nota sincera, ci sarebbe piaciuto che fossero leggermente più grandi o più abbondanti. Ma questo è solo un piccolo dettaglio in una serata praticamente perfetta.
Grazie a tutto lo staff, e un grazie speciale a Dario: la tua presenza ha reso la nostra cena davvero indimenticabile.

Location già conosciuta, sul mare, molto raffinata e curata. Piatti e proposte non banali e molto buone. Servizio impeccabile, una ragazza molto giovane ci ha seguito e curato per tutto il pranzo, con cortesia, professionalità e precisione.. BRAVA !
Unico appunto, avevamo prenotato tramite il tasto "prenota" trovato su google maps e all'arrivo non c'era traccia della prenotazione.. ma nonostante questo la responsabile ci ha trovato un tavolo.. gentilissimi ! (fate solamente attenzione a questo metodo di prenotazione perchè arriva la conferma di prenotazione).. alla prossima

A fantastic location and very tasteful decor make you feel immediately at home. The owners and their staff are super friendly. The food selection is extensive and exquisite, and the quality is fantastic. A must for lovers of good food.

The place has a suggestive view and is well cared for. The service is attentive, precise and very polite. I would say the food quality is excellent. We had a great time, if you are in the area I would recommend it.

Excellent seafood restaurant in Fano. We had an appetizer, two second courses and a bottle of Cartizze for a total of €114. The raw seafood appetizer was excellent. The two second courses of scampi in salt were very good even though the scampi were a bit medium in size and the vegetables were not presented at their best in the design of the plate. Superb Cartizze. Fast, competent and very courteous service.

After many years I returned to the little square where I worked in the dining room for a few seasons in one of the restaurants (not this one). Capitan Italo is a historic restaurant on the shoreline of Porto Verde/Misano. The management is entrusted to the founder's heirs. Located in a small square with nearby competitors and currently the most deserving. Pleasant evening with a fish dinner a few steps from the sea (even if it is possible as already described to reserve a single table for 2 on the rocks for a romantic dinner. Obviously they included an extra price on the table reservation for exclusivity). Good portions and adequate price, good wine list. Compliments to the young waiter who served us, especially because he has eyes for the customers' requests, knows how to look at the room and intervenes promptly, not an expert in wines, but I underline that not even the "SOMMELIER" (perhaps the owner) has proven to be up to the task, he recommends the wine but does not know the peculiarities of the individual labels. Very basic appetizer nothing special, while grilled worthy and good portion, the flavors of the fish are felt. Fried well done, applause for the cooking that is light, not greasy and just the right browning. Nice service of napkins compared to the hateful pre-packaged sachets that many current restaurants use. The wine is served with frangino and the waiter comes on some occasions for the pour. Very beautiful sea view, some people pass by the table but it is not that of a walk so it does not disturb. Too bad they charge the focaccia price on the table with fish dinner! Since they apply a medium-high cover charge. The restaurant also does pizza, I cannot give advice since I have not tried it. Rooms available to reserve for groups for private events.
