A little out of the way of the tourist restaurants in the Vatican area
A great place with first courses, fantastic salads and top sandwiches between innovation and Roman tradition, it rightly doesn't disdain to satisfy the tourist target but for an Italian who wants to eat quality products in a young, kind and efficient environment, it is a highly recommended place

Capitan Cono in Rome was a delightful and casual spot where my wife and I enjoyed a surprisingly satisfying meal. We tried the hamburger with French fries, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, and the spaghetti with pork, which was rich, savory, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The portions were generous, the food came out hot and fresh, and the service was friendly and fast. It’s a great place for a quick and tasty bite if you’re exploring the area and want something filling without the fuss. We left full and happy, and would gladly return on our next visit to Rome.

This restaurant was right by our hotel, we decided to eat here and found the food to be very good, tasty and quickly brought to the table. Menu has slightly more to offer than other places to give you a change from just Italian food. We had a 5 month old with us. They did not have a high chair, however, this did not stop us from returning twice more whilst we were on holiday here. Menu is reasonably priced and staff were friendly. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.
