Canusciuti Sicilian Cafe In Catania

For me, it was a go-to place for a traditional aperitivo with excellent value. I'm sorry to say that, three months after I last went, they changed the menu and the presentation, and it was a disappointment. They raised the prices while reducing the quantity. Too bad, too bad, too bad!

I go often; for me, it's a go-to spot in the center, among the many restaurants. As usual, the quality is excellent, but I was here three months ago, and today, unfortunately, I have to criticize for the first time. Because I found the menu format changed, with higher prices and significantly less quantity. For example, I always left the place stuffed, almost to the point of not finishing my aperitif, and today I not only finished it, but I wasn't even full. My kids even struggled to finish their sandwiches; today they were still hungry. I hope they take this criticism as constructive; it's not like me to be a keyboard warrior; I've always praised the quality/quantity/price ratio when it comes to the bill. I'll be back to see if anything changes, and I hope so, because it would be a real shame.

Great location, right between two beautiful squares. Fast and friendly service, tasty appetizers, and a truly excellent sandwich. It was a wonderful experience!

A good place to eat. Simple, informal dishes, but with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The dining room was very quiet. We went without a reservation and found a seat without any problems. A good experience.

Nice streetfood place offering typical Sicilian foods like arancine, cannoli, panelle or slices of pizza. We were here twice - we didn’t enjoy the cannoli too much but especially panelle and arancine were very good! :)

Qualità, simpatia e professionalità. Locale in centro a Catania con un menù molto ampio che dà la possibilità di provare molte delle specialità siciliane. Arancini eseguiti a regola d’arte (ottimo il mediterraneo con pesce spada), buonissima anche la caponata e le polpette di melanzane insomma tutto squisito. Cameriera dolce e sorridente (e soprattutto paziente dato che eravamo tantissimi). Consiglio assolutamente.

Locale per pasti veloci. Siamo stati a pranzo in tre. Abbiamo preso tre arancini, pianelle, chips e gamberi in tempura. Tutto ottimo e condito con salsa di accompagnamento. Ci siamo accomodati ai tavoli esterni. Prezzi onestissimi Direi perfetto per chi vuole mangiare bene senza perdere troppo tempo.
