We did a wine tasting here and experienced some really outstanding and special biological wine. The host Simonetta really made it a great experience by supplying a lot of background knowledge and being very kind and generous.

Excellent tasting experience. Small location set in a historical context, surrounded by stones and bricks that recall the "life" of the past. The presentation of the cellar and the wines was accurate and full of passion. We did the one with 3 tastings, accompanied by bruschetta and a rich and well-presented platter. As for the wines, I won't spoil anything, definitely worth trying.😋🍷🍷🍷

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience at the wine shop of Tenuta La Macchia! We sampled three of their wines – Aryah, Scutum, and Macchiato – and were impressed by each one. The vineyard’s history is fascinating, especially learning about their use of a rare grape variety, which makes their wines truly one-of-a-kind. It’s great to know that all their wines are completely organic, and we loved hearing about their innovative natural methods for keeping pests at bay. Although it was out of season for a vineyard tour, our time in the shop was still incredibly enjoyable. We ended up buying some wine to pair with seafood we’re planning to have later this week. I highly recommend Tenuta La Macchia to anyone who appreciates a good wine and wants to learn more about organic winemaking!
