Ieri sera abbiamo cenato alla Cantina U’ Scilatur a Fontana, ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica sotto ogni aspetto.
Il ristorante è situato in un’antica cantina ischitana, alle pendici del Monte Epomeo, immerso in un’atmosfera unica e circondato da vigneti. L’ambiente rustico e accogliente, con dettagli che richiamano la tradizione contadina, rende l’esperienza ancora più autentica.
Abbiamo iniziato con l’antipasto della casa per quattro persone, un vero trionfo di sapori autentici e ingredienti locali con un tocco di originalità: salumi e formaggi di alta qualità, arancini al Mojito con mela verde dal gusto sorprendente e sfiziosi flan di zucca dal sapore delicato. Il tutto accompagnato da friarielli, scarola e fagioli alla messicana, oltre a delle deliziose finte pere ripiene di pere caramellate, noci e zeste d’arancia, un’esplosione di dolcezza e croccantezza. A completare questa selezione, una parmigiana ricca e avvolgente, tortini di fave e pancetta saporiti e una pasta e patate cremosa e perfettamente bilanciata.
Per i primi, abbiamo scelto due piatti diversi: ravioli ripieni di genovese e casarecce scilatur con salsiccia, melanzane e zucchine, entrambe equilibrate e ben presentati. Abbiamo accompagnato la cena con il vino della casa, perfetto per valorizzare i sapori dei piatti.
Abbiamo concluso con un dolce squisito: un lingotto al cioccolato e caramello decorato con frutti di bosco e panna, perfettamente bilanciato tra dolcezza e freschezza.
Lo staff è stato cordiale e attento, contribuendo a rendere la serata ancora più piacevole.
La Cantina U’ Scilatur è il posto ideale per chi vuole mangiare bene in un contesto suggestivo e familiare. Ottima qualità delle materie prime, piatti curati nei minimi dettagli e una location incantevole. Torneremo sicuramente!

Excellent food and friendly and helpful staff. The environment is comfortable, it's like feeling at home pampered by the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the cellar. Everything was very, very beautiful. I hope to return very soon.

Last night we had dinner at Cantina U' Scilatur in Fontana, and it was a fantastic experience in every respect.
The restaurant is located in an ancient Ischia winery, on the slopes of Mount Epomeo, immersed in a unique atmosphere and surrounded by vineyards. The rustic and welcoming environment, with details that recall the peasant tradition, makes the experience even more authentic.
We started with the house appetizer for four people, a true triumph of authentic flavors and local ingredients with a touch of originality: high quality cured meats and cheeses, Mojito arancini with green apple with a surprising flavor and delicious pumpkin flan with a delicate flavour. All accompanied by broccoli, escarole and Mexican beans, as well as delicious fake pears filled with caramelized pears, walnuts and orange zest, an explosion of sweetness and crunchiness. To complete this selection, a rich and enveloping parmigiana, tasty broad bean and bacon pies and a creamy and perfectly balanced pasta and potatoes.
For the first courses, we chose two different dishes: ravioli stuffed with Genoese and casarecce scilatur with sausage, aubergines and courgettes, both balanced and well presented. We accompanied dinner with the house wine, perfect for enhancing the flavors of the dishes
We concluded with an exquisite dessert: a chocolate and caramel ingot decorated with berries and cream, perfectly balanced between sweetness and freshness.
The staff were friendly and attentive, helping to make the evening even more enjoyable.
The U' Scilatur winery is the ideal place for those who want to eat well in an evocative and familiar context. Excellent quality of raw materials, dishes with attention to detail and an enchanting location. We will definitely be back!

We've been twice... the first time we had a great time we had dinner outside on the beautiful terrace... but yesterday... they let us sit inside... and honestly the environment was too dark... the sore point was the starter... we had asked for 3 ..and a dish was brought to the center of the table..which was absolutely not equivalent to 3 appetizers...just 1 parmigiana for 6 people..Absurd!
They wanted to do the same thing with the seconds... but we didn't let them!

Very pleasant dinner inside this typical cellar built into the mountain.
Traditional dishes, the meats are well cooked, the first courses are delicious and plentiful.
The path with steps in the vineyard to get to the restaurant is beautiful.
Prices in line with the place.
Definitely recommended.
