a perfect last lunch in italy (for this year). we couldn't have asked for a better send off. the cheeks and polenta left me cleaning the gravy off the plate with bread. the house red is exquisite. my wife's wild boar tagliatelle was just the sort of nonna's cooking that you're craving when you plan the trip to iseo. if you prefer family establishments, just off the tourist trail, don't miss cantina del torchio!

The food wasn't very well-crafted. The pasta with sardines was probably something he saw from afar. The whitefish fillet, while good, was sautéed without much else on the side. Overall, a good trattoria with average prices. Good wine selection.

We had a wonderful meal after a 13-hour drive exploring the area. They use local ingredients, and you can taste it. We hadn't made a reservation, but were still welcomed. Very nice, because we prefer to spend our money on a meal that's worth it. The owners' daughter provided excellent service.

¡Qué propiedad tan inusual y llena de carácter! La comida era realmente buena, comida tradicional Italiano . El personal era amable y acogedor. Teníamos pensado volver una segunda vez pero no nos habíamos dado cuenta de que Catina Del Torchio solo abre los fines de semana, una pena.

Dinner for 8 friends after a long day in the sun on Lake Iseo. Cantina del Torchio is a little corner of Italy stuck in tradition. Simple and spartan menu and friendly and kind staff. The sliced ​​meat was very good! Be careful to specify the cooking (be a little insistent but make sure they have understood the message, one diner got it wrong). First courses 6 in the report card. Prices above average I would have expected something less.

Visita veloce sul lago d'Iseo con famiglia e amici... Abbiamo prenotato all'ultimo trovandolo chiaramente su Tripadvisor ... Siamo rimasti entusiasti sia del posto molto caratteristico sia dai proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Ottima la degustazione dei formaggi, la Fiorentina, la Costata e gli arrosticini. Vino locale buonissimo. Dolci discreti. Da ritornare sicuramente quando in zona.

10/09/2025: I booked a room in their guesthouse, and was greeted very kindly upon check-in at their hotel. Having never been there before, I didn't know they had a restaurant, so I took the opportunity to dine there. As soon as I opened the menu, I was pleasantly surprised, so much so that I immediately complimented the maître d'. The atmosphere is extremely intimate and relaxed, perfect for a romantic dinner. There's no noise inside the room. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive, everything very discreet. I ordered one of their tartare options and a glass of wine. The maître d', noticing I'd ordered an appetizer, offered me a side dish. I chose the grilled vegetables. Without going into technical details that aren't my place, despite my good palate, I ate the best tartare I've ever had. The grilled vegetables were perfect, fresh and lightly seared. I'm not one to write reviews often, but honestly, this one was necessary. I've complimented the staff several times, and I reiterate my compliments publicly. I also thank them for the immense courtesy with which I was treated. I absolutely recommend them.
