Cantina Battisti is a true slice of authentic Verona. Authentic Veronese cuisine, an excellent wine selection, and simply impeccable service. The presence of host Marco adds that extra touch that makes every guest feel at home. The boiled meats with pearà deserve a sixth star: exceptional! @mirko.martiniii

On Friday, October 31st, during a visit to Verona, we stopped at this place for an aperitivo, as usual. We've been going there for years, and to be honest, it's never disappointed us. This time, however, we were quite surprised, especially when it came to the bill. We ordered two glasses of wine (a Soave and a Ripasso) and two "poci," small samples of food served in a small pan and accompanied by bread—bread, which, incidentally, is billed separately. The "poci" we chose were a Parmigiana and a Tomato and Stracciatella. The first turned out to be a simple stewed diced eggplant, far from a true parmigiana; the second consisted of a few spoonfuls of tomato sauce with a very small amount of stracciatella. I should point out that the price list clearly stated the prices, so there was no reason to object to formal correctness; However, the quantity and quality of what was served seemed completely disproportionate to the overall cost and the expectations we had built up over years of frequenting the restaurant.

Always excellent! Definitely one of the best boiled meats and pearà in the entire Verona area! Beautiful place, excellent service, very kind and professional, excellent wines, and a delicious and extensive boiled meat cart! The prices are excellent, considering they pamper you from the beginning to the end of the meal, bringing an excellent and varied appetizer (included in the cover charge!), various accompanying sauces and side dishes are included, and finally a very welcome dessert and grappa/limoncello on the table! Thank you for everything! Oh, and remember to book well in advance, as everyone leaves satisfied; it's always full! 😁

We were there last night. What can I say? The service is impeccable and the food is sublime. Unbeatable value for money. It's best to book well in advance.

Excellent restaurant for lovers of good food, especially for those who enjoy boiled meats. The meat is cooked beautifully.

A restaurant with a focus on meat, a monumental boiled meat cart, but also ribs and T-bone steaks. There are few first courses, no appetizers on the menu, but a small one is offered at each table. I ordered: the boiled meat cart (€25). The owner comes directly to the table with the cart, while the accompanying sauces (4) and side dishes are brought by the wait staff. As I was saying, a monumental cart with fifteen different choices, from which I ordered about ten. Everything was fantastic. As for sides, they served polenta, roast potatoes, and plenty of spinach. I continued with the cheese cart, very carefully presented by the young wait staff. Each slice is €1.50; I chose two Cimbri and a blue cheese. I finished with a portion of millefeuille. With a glass of Valpolicella Ripasso and a bottle of water, it's €40. The service was friendly, but also extremely punctual and professional. Highly recommended, a superb experience.

This place was a pleasant surprise! On our way to Milan, we stopped by for dinner without a reservation. It was full (tutto pieno), so we sat at the bar—and we’re glad we did! They have an amazing dipping concept: you choose from options like ragù, baccalà, melted gorgonzola, or ajvar, served with generous bread. I didn’t even have time to take a photo before we finished everything!

Spectacular: food, location, service, bill. My favorite place in the Verona area. The boiled meat trolley is unmissable; pearà is superb. The sorbet and tiramisu were wow! The staff were friendly and helpful, and fast. The atmosphere was youthful, modern, and well-kept, yet attentive to tradition. Pampered from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Qualità assoluta ad un costo che in questo momento credo non abbia confronti con altri ristoranti di questo livello il che non è assolutamente banale. Servizio veloce e cortese forse, almeno questa sera poco empatico. Piatti particolarmente curati secondo la tradizione veronese ma con un " pizzico" di innovazione perfettamente integrata. Esperienza come sempre molto positiva. Alla prossima.
