Beautiful, the food is good and the quality is high. Too bad about the menu which is told to you verbally by the waitresses without knowing the prices from the first to the second to the dessert. It's all a bit "in the dark" or in trust.

Place recommended by a Veronese while I was in Verona and wanted to eat typical Veronese food. Bigoli Tasta Sal with Black Truffle Top. Cart boiled meats with exceptional Pearà. Very honest prices. Highly recommended

All very tasty, to come back often especially for those who love boiled meat with peara, wonderful! But not only that, the cheese trolley, the carpaccio trolley, the desserts, the selection of wines, would be 6 - 7 stars. Compliments

Nice place with a bistro part and a restaurant part. Excellent for those looking for traditional Veronese cuisine with the addition of pleasant and delicious dishes. A tip: always book.

We often go there for lunch, everything is really excellent. My favorite dishes: bigoli with truffle cream (superlative) and tastasal, tortelli stuffed with dandelion (fantastic), Lessinia cheese trolley. The semi- and mature cheeses are phenomenal, especially those aged in pomace and whiskey. The parsley and pepper sauces that accompany the boiled meat or side dishes are delicious. The house red as well as the wine list are excellent. I will update the review with more photos. Well done everyone, keep it up. P.S. Good luck booking, I'm always full

Di martedì con prenotazione per cena in sette persone. Locale accogliente con le giuste distanze fra un tavolo e l'altro. Abbiamo optato tutti per il carrello dei bolliti accompagnato dalle sue salse, dopo un piccolo antipasto, tutto ottimo. Finiamo con il carrello dei formaggi ed accompagniamo con il vino della zona, ottimo. Servizio abbastanza veloce e simpatico. Interessantissima la zona aperitivi prima della cena. Non ci dimentichiamo, prezzo onestissimo.

Prenotato diversi mesi primi: il sabato sera e la domenica a pranzo è sempre full. Cantina Battisti è uno di quei ristoranti dove l'aggettivo "tipico" è davvero ben speso: arredi, soffitti, lampadari e suppellettili ti catapultato in un mondo che non c'è piu: preservate questo stile, non cedete al conformisto del moderno a tutti i costi. Qui sanno come trattare il cliente e io apprezzo queste attenzioni che, sono sempre più una rarità: un piccolo antipasto di benvenuto, un finger di dolce a fine pasto e gli amari a fine di tutto, serviti in divertenti barattoli congelati. Noi abbiamo preso 6 piatti di lesso e arrosti dal carrello, con peara' e contorni; una tagliata e un piatto di ottimi spaghetti alle sarde; una bottiglia di valpollicella superiore e 4 dolci. Spesi 200 euro. Tutto buono.

29/08/2024: Everything was excellent, a very nice and characteristic place, excellent typical Amarone risotto, it was a nice culinary experience, the kindness of the manager also makes the experience exceptional.
24/08/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at Vecio Macello during a short visit to Verona, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The restaurant offers not only exceptional seafood dishes and pasta but also boasts an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. I had a bit of a mishap and left my backpack, which contained valuable items, at the restaurant. To my great relief, the staff handled the situation with utmost professionalism and kindness, ensuring I got it back the same day. This level of care, combined with their delicious food, makes Vecio Macello a must-visit. I will definitely return next time I’m in Verona!

20/07/2024: We ended up here by chance with my husband and two little girls. A stop with our camper before leaving for Biella. Well SPECTACULAR!! Daniele has been there for 5 generations to pass on to you all his passion for good food and quality raw materials. He illustrates his menu and his products with a passion that is rarely found anywhere else. The place is VERY CLEAN!!!!!! The bathrooms are a spectacle, there are even sanitizing wipes in the toilet. I have rarely come across such pleasant places!!! In all and for all. Top prices!! Quality - price nothing short of exceptional! The food is excellent, the wine superb!! If we hadn't had to drive another 3 hours we would have ordered much more!! Typical products of the area, simple dishes handed down from generation to generation, with attention to raw materials and lots and lots of passion!! WELL WELL WELL BRAVO! A VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE!!!
