A very nice place. Very friendly staff who explain every dessert they have. They give recommendations very kindly. Francesco served us excellently. Thank you for your attention. Be sure to try both the desserts and the cornetto di prosciutto crudo. Very good coffee.

Excellent pastry shop. Tried the Charlotte and it was really good. Not bad for breakfast and aperitif too.

I visited Canepa 1862 today and ordered a macchiato along with two croissants – one filled with pistachio and the other with raspberry. The coffee was excellent and both croissants were simply incredible – probably the best I’ve had in my life. Even though they didn’t look exactly like the ones in the display, the taste was outstanding. Huge compliments to the kitchen – truly world-class! The only downside was the service. Unfortunately, my order was overlooked at first, and I ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes to receive two croissants. After 15 minutes, the staff mistakenly gave the pastries to someone else, and I had to wait again. While the team was kind, the delay was disappointing and affected the overall experience. I truly hope this was just an isolated incident, because the quality of both the food and coffee is exceptional. With a bit more attention to service, this place would easily be perfect.

The passion and use of selected ingredients can be felt. Cream brioches are one of those things that should be tried at least once in your life. Better if more than once.....

Friendly staff. Good cappuccino. I am a big consumer of brioches with custard. The one from this pastry shop is TOP IN THE WORLD. Absolutely to avoid if you have a sweet tooth.

We visited the store/sales area with a group about two weeks ago and sampled various delicacies. I took home a delicious panettone – it was a dream. A true paradise for lovers of sweets. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast with cappuccino and croissant, excellent, fresh products, balanced fillings, clean room, display of products designed to enhance them, professional staff, price appropriate to the products and the context.

Ambiente accogliente, buon servizio… peccato per le monoporzioni non proprio al top, in particolare il monte bianco.

Faccio una premessa : sono di Rapallo amo i dolci e quindi non posso che essere cliente abituale di Canepa che è senza ombra di dubbio la migliore pasticceria che c’è almeno in tutto il golfo del Tigullio!!! Detto ciò ho letto delle recensioni negative in merito al panettone e mi sono sentito in dovere di dire la mia nella mia veste di frequentatore assiduo dotato di buon palato oltre che di appetito 😊 Da anni che compro il panettone di Andrea e Gianni , ancor prima che diventassero famosi, ed avendone mangiati per passione parecchi in giro per l’Italia è da tempo che dico che il loro prodotto è senz’altro tra i migliori e quest’anno non ha fatto eccezione. Quello che ho mangiato era un ottimo panettone ma con questo non voglio dire che chi ne è rimasto deluso non capisca nulla faccio solo presente che purtroppo fare dei grandi panettoni non è una cosa semplice e basta poco che un’infornata da X pezzi esca non come si vorrebbe mentre quella prima risultava perfetta. Canepa è un artigiano e come tale soggetto all’impossibilità di replicare perfettamente le stesse caratteristiche dei suoi prodotti , come fanno invece le industrie dolciarie, ma so per certo che le materie prime utilizzate sono sempre le migliori per garantire il prodotto migliore. Concludo consigliando a chi è rimasto deluso di tornare e di dare un’altra chance a Canepa e a chi non è mai andato di fare colazione con uno dei suoi krapfen con una crema favolosa o con le ottime brioches o di portarsi a casa e di degustare in famiglia le spettacolari paste. Io ci sono andato anche oggi 😊
