CAMPOCORI Restaurant In Roma

We'd been wanting to try this restaurant in the heart of Rome for a long time. We had high expectations, and they were met. We decided to do the six-course tasting menu, chosen by the chef (be careful, if you arrive too late, you won't be able to do the seven-course menu). We started with small appetizers, which were very tasty, especially the piadina with mushrooms, which was delicious. But the tasting menu was a real escalation... each dish was better than the last. The tagliatelle with sheep ragù was sublime. Not to mention the turbot with potato flan, indescribable in words. It was the best course of the entire experience. Dessert and small pastries followed. We washed it all down with a Chianti Classico pour. The service was top-notch, with the right attention to detail. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and available to meet every need. We spent around €300 for two tasting menus, a wine, and a coffee. A wonderful experience. Recommended.

The staff is impeccable: professional, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommended for those seeking high-quality cuisine and top-notch service. We'll definitely be back!

The five-course menu is vegetarian, so we opted for the six-course menu, which was excellent, although the fish was slightly overcooked (our neighbors had the same impression) and there was a mistake with the wine selection. However, I'm deducting one star for two reasons: 1) We were offered cocktails. I asked for a cocktail menu, but there wasn't one. We therefore declined, as we value transparency. 2) We had to wait half an hour for the bill despite several reminders, which was very frustrating as it was late and we wanted to go home. I should mention that, apart from these issues, the service was excellent. These problems aside, the restaurant easily deserves five stars.

If i could give more than 5 Stars i would. My experience at Campocori was absolutely devine. The service is impeccable. At every time of the evening I felt very well taken care of and looked after. The chefs are absolutely wonderful. My meal was amazing. The wine (and desert) suggested by the sommelier was absolutely on point and delicious, the service left nothing open to suggestions. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely go back. I can warmly recommend

We found Campocori restaurant in the Michelin Guide. We booked in advance for our 25 year wedding anniversary trip. I wanted a place that was romantic, but not overly formal. A place with a fabulous food and wine where we could let the chef choose the courses. We had a wonderful experience! Sean, our sommelier, made our evening all the better. He was so friendly and knowledgable. We had been all over Sicily trying wines prior to our visit to Rome and it was fun to talk to him about what we had learned. The food was beautiful and delicious. For those inclined, they also had a vegetarian tasting menu. We didn't get that, but they did wonderful things with vegetables in every course. They also had the best bread of anywhere we had been!

We had dinner at CAMPOCORI and the experience was visually impressive from the start. The chef sent out a complimentary selection of small bites — beautifully plated, each dish looking like a piece of art. However, despite the elegant presentation, the flavors felt a bit bland and lacked a standout taste. For the main courses, we tried the trout fish dish, served with a theatrical touch as the waiter poured the sauce at the table. Again, the presentation was excellent, but the flavor was only average. The rabbit main course followed the same pattern — creative plating, but the taste did not quite meet the expectations set by the visual appeal. We ended the meal with a hazelnut and chocolate dessert, which was definitely the highlight of the evening — rich, balanced, and delicious. In summary: excellent service and stunning presentation, but in our opinion, the flavors didn't fully match the high level of the aesthetics.

Amazing food and service. The staff really go out of their way to make sure you have a good night. I ordered carbonara and some how I think it is too hard, it could be me. And the staff see that i did not eat much and offer me another pasta and it was the best pasta I ever had. They then gave me some small dessert to end the night. It was such a night evening. Totally recommended and best night in Rome. Forgot to mention they have the best bread!!
