Camping Villaggio Grande Italia In Chioggia

The campsite is very nice and has an excellent location. Chioggia is also easily accessible on foot. Unfortunately, there is no water connection for campers. The restrooms are clean. Unfortunately, the water wasn't warm in the evening, which isn't so pleasant when washing your hair in October. The reception staff are very friendly.

We were here in mid-September and agree with the positive reviews here: Spacious pitches, loungers and umbrellas included on the adjacent beach, bathrooms not new but well-maintained and always clean. Small shop with basic necessities and a nice deli counter, small restaurant with fair prices. Disadvantage: The often-mentioned beach disco, very loud Thursdays to Sundays. I'd love to come back!

We stayed in a new and well-organized mobile home. It was a wonderful holiday in a truly well-organized facility, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Excellent service; we had a small issue with the shower, which was promptly and courteously resolved. Wonderful proximity to the beach. The only downside is that the nearby establishments sometimes play their music too loud, causing a lot of disturbance. It would be enough if they could turn it down to make it enjoyable for us guests as well, without intruding on the entire neighborhood.

Under new management, the campsite is nearing completion. Once a few minor issues are addressed (hot water and compliance with the positive rules), it could become a truly excellent campsite. Courtesy and helpful staff at reception and on the beach. The beach is very well maintained, with well-spaced umbrellas. If they maintain this price range (excellent value) without increasing it too much, we will definitely return.
