We chose this place so as not to go to the classic Barberino restaurants at the motorway exit 🛣. The restaurant is 20 minutes by car from the Barberino del Mugello exit. The place honestly doesn't look very good from the outside, you can see it's a bit dated but as soon as we enter everything changes. The waiter was very kind as soon as we entered, the place wasn't full, there were just a few tables and all with children. In the end my wife and I had 1 appetizer each (fried polenta + porcini mushrooms and coccoli with p. crudo and stracchino) both very good and a 1.2 kg Fiorentina. He showed it to us before cooking it (not all restaurants show it to you) and in the end it was very good... in the end we started chatting with the other tables too and it turned into a family place. My wife and I had a wonderful time together with my 6 month old daughter...we will definitely be back because I really felt the tranquility and relaxation as well as the good food!

Ate for lunch in this Tuscan trattoria that has remained frozen in time. It felt like sitting and eating in a restaurant in the 80s. All the dishes ordered turned out to be very good, starting from the cold cuts, cheeses and fried polenta with mushrooms for the starter. The house wine was also of excellent quality.

we went to eat with friends for a birthday, the starter was good, Tuscan, we chose two first course dishes, even the decent ones, except for the gluten-free penne which were raw, when the time comes for the "mixed grill made up of rosticciana, sausage and sliced beef", the latter tasted like carcass, gave off a bad smell as soon as it was served, so we thought it was mutton, but the taste suggested it was simply expired meat, also because mutton wasn't mentioned on the menu . the dessert was good, even if the latter, included in the €35 menu, was not gluten-free, after the gluten-free menu had been ensured, even the red wine wasn't that great, it had a strong cork taste.
I had also been there to eat on another occasion, and the food was really excellent, I had no problems.

An excellent dinner in a characteristic setting in the Legri area. This restaurant was a great discovery, thanks to The Fork. We made a reservation for my husband's birthday dinner. Good appetizers, excellent first course, house specialty, penne with ragù with porcini mushrooms and truffle, excellent fillet with grilled porcini mushroom cap. Quality raw materials, excellent meat. The fried porcini mushrooms are very good. The wine was also very good. Grandma's cake was truly delicious and well prepared with lots of cream. Very courteous service. Really great price for what we ate. Definitely worth trying. We will be back soon. Thanks to the owner for the discount applied and for the whole service.
