A quality restaurant, but really very expensive... hence the 3 stars. The food is good, but the portions are small for the price we paid... aside from the €4 per person per person...
Honestly, the quality/price/quantity ratio isn't up to par.
Although the service was excellent and they are dog-friendly.

A Perfect Florentine Experience
Trattoria Cammillo is an absolute gem. Tucked away right by the river, it's the perfect spot for an intimate dinner with friends or a romantic evening with your partner. It's a classic, old-school restaurant with an old but incredibly talented staff who make the entire experience feel special.
The food is simple but exquisite, serving up wonderful Tuscan dishes for true gourmands. My go-to is always the duck paired with a glass of Chianti, it's simply amazing!
The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. It's warm, inviting, and feels like a genuine taste of old Florence. This is a must-visit if you're in town.

Got a table without a reservation. Food was amazing, staff was excellent and the vibes were good - even when being there solo. Strongly recommend, and do listen to the waiter’s recommendation!

Cammillo never disappoints. I have been eating here since 1999 and once again had a great meal this week. The service is easy-going and attentive. It’s old school with lace curtains but it delivers. We walked in on a Monday 15 min before closing and there was no wait. We had the beef carpaccio, pappa al pomodoro soup, rocket/parm salad and meat tortellini with cream, 2 glasses prosecco and a great bottle of vernaccia for Euro180. We were too full for dessert, but the server brought us each one spoonful of the tiramisu they make in house since it was our 20th wedding anniversary. No complaints.

We had the chicken with curry, which was highlighted on the menu. GazPacho is amazing. You can get it without pork if you want. But it is amazing with the bacon. Appears to be a great local restaurant. It was really busy. One of their main dish being a chicken curry meal made me think that this is a very local restaurant that is a entertain locals with internAtional options, which got famous. So that’s why you should give the chicken Curry dish a try.

Eravamo in vacanza e a tutti i costi il mio compagno voleva portarmi lì perché anni fa aveva mangiato benissimo.
Purtroppo non più, molto deludente dal pane al antipasto e una fiorentina tristissima.
Si salva per il servizio ottimo, un cameriere russo stra gentile.
