Camden Town In Roma

Came in for a quick one and honestly wanted to stay all night. Col is such a Lad. Had a beer and some shots and the Mrs had a baileys and was treated with respect and hospitality. If you don’t have banter stay at home. 👊🏿

I only had a few beers, but at first the barista seemed stupid and rude. But I realized that was just his way. After that we were well served. Great atmosphere.

Este es un excelente pub irlandés situado cerca del Coliseo. Tuve que comprobarlo una vez que me enteré de que un amigo camarero estaba trabajando allí ahora. El Guinness estaba perfectamente servido y el servicio era excelente. Me alegré de tener una camisa clásica Roma en cuando me presentaron al propietario.

My friends and I had the pleasure of visiting the Camden Pub a couple of nights ago on our second night in Rome. After 2 pretty awful days in Rome we had been sick of the tourist traps, overpriced drinks and overall underwhelming experience despite visiting any and all major attractions. We thought screw it let’s go to this pub and see where the night takes us! To our pleasure we were introduced to Obi, the best barmaid any of us have ever had the pleasure of being served by. This man single handedly restored our faith in Rome and was the highlight of our visit through 3 cities in Italy. This gentleman was not only accomodating, kind and funny, he had this ability to bring everyone together as though we were family, whilst making sure we remained sensible of course. We all felt like we left home with a bigger family that night and it was all because of that man. If I ever visit Rome again it definitely won’t be because of the monuments, restaurants or stores, it’ll be to run straight to the Camden from the airport for a pint with Obi. Been the highlight of conversation since we left the city and ventured to our next and it’s a memory all three of us will cherish forever. Big thanks to Obi if he reads this, we bloody appreciate ya mate you’re a legend!

Beautiful Irish style pub with great selection of beers. If I lived in Rome I would go back often.
