We went for dinner and to watch the sunset. It's a beautiful and elegant place, but the food didn't meet our expectations. We ordered a buffalo with shrimp tartar. The mozzarella didn't have much flavor and it was literally four small pieces with a shrimp on top of each one (the shrimp was very tasty). We then ordered a bluefin tuna tartar, which had more nactarin, or so we suspected, than tuna, and the size was mediocre. The selection of cold cuts and cheese was acceptable. Two glasses of wine, a water, and an acceptable dessert also came to a bill of almost 80 euros, and we were left hungry. It's worth saying that we may not have ordered the best dishes, as the pasta looked very good, although it wasn't particularly abundant on the plate. I think it's a place to watch the sunset and have a cocktail only, as there's also a DJ playing music, and after dinner there was a disco. The views were incredible, and the sunset was magical.

For me, this beach club is the best in northern Sardinia. The ambiance is harmonious, the staff very friendly, and the food delicious. For me, Calypso is an absolute must on any vacation. Whether you're just stopping by for a cocktail or gin or staying for dinner, you definitely won't be disappointed! A big thank you to the entire team, you always make our vacation that little bit more special! :)

A beautiful spot right on the beach. During the day, there's a beach restaurant with a great menu, and a disco in the evening/night. The view is breathtaking! There are facilities below for changing and showering after the beach. A great cocktail menu.

During our vacation in Valledoria, we visited the Calypso Beach Bar several times – and for good reason. The location is prime: just a few minutes' walk from the parking lot (cheap & always plenty of space), you reach the bar via a small wooden walkway right on the beach. The bar itself is modernly decorated, offers plenty of seating, and never seemed rushed, even when it was busier. They serve cold drinks, delicious cocktails, and small snacks – as well as proper meals like pasta or fresh sandwiches. Everything we tried was consistently delicious and lovingly prepared. We were particularly impressed by the drinks: beautifully made and not just run-of-the-mill. The water at the beach here is clear and relatively clear – perfect for a quick dip or spending half a day there. If you prefer something more comfortable, you can grab a lounger right within sight of the bar and chill out the whole day. The bar is ideal for everything: a cappuccino in the morning, a snack at lunch, a sundowner in the afternoon – it's perfect. By the way, there's also something going on here in the evenings: A DJ was there on the weekend, and it turned into a small, very relaxed beach party. Good music, a good atmosphere, not a Ballermann vibe—more casual and stylish. The staff were consistently friendly and kept their cool despite the crowds.

We didn't eat, but it is said that it is a place where you eat well. A delicacy would be the pineapple pizza, but be careful it is not the usual American one. It intrigues me, maybe I will try it.

Great location right on the beachfront. Lovely pasta - trofie fantastica di mare - that was excellent value for money. Perfect place to pull up for lunch, enjoy a spritz and a brilliant seafront setting. Nice background music.
