Cala Zingaro In Cervia

The flavors are excellent, with excellent dishes; the fish and shellfish are excellent. It's a summer tradition to eat at this elegant place, evocative of seaside holidays, near or on the sand, in a delightful setting. The wine pairings are excellent.

I highly recommend it for those looking for quality products and pleasant service, a good wine list and a beautiful location.

We booked a day in advance, and when we arrived, we were placed at the last table at the back, under the houses. House music, the waiters (hers) smelled of smoke, but he came by when he remembered. We got calluses on our butts... Otherwise, everything was normal. Disappointed, we won't be back. Bye!

This place is divine...the beach, the restaurant, the events they host... It's a beautiful and meticulously maintained environment... The staff is truly helpful and attentive. I already want to go back!

Last year, I gave Cala Zingaro 5 stars because the experience was truly excellent. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing this year. The appetizer (red shrimp carpaccio) was good but rather small in quantity for the price. The first course (cacio e pepe), on the other hand, was a bit too dry. Overall, it wasn't a bad dinner, but the quality didn't quite live up to the expectations I'd had from my previous experience. The location remains impeccable: elegant yet relaxed, framed by dunes and maritime pines, a truly unique oasis in Milano Marittima. A small tip concerns the seating: some wooden chairs with woven rope/Vienna straw are a bit worn and, besides not being the most comfortable, tend to scratch your legs or pull on the threads of your clothes. A few simple cushions would be enough to make the experience even more pleasant. Average between the two experiences: 4 stars (5 last year, 3 this year).

Last night, my husband, my son, and I ate at Cala Zingaro. Our expectations were high, especially the little boy, who couldn't wait to eat at the restaurant he'd seen on Borghese's popular TV show. The place is truly lovely, well-kept, and elegant. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner; the dishes were delicious, delicate, and beautifully presented. I'll never forget my amberjack tartare. The service, provided by two young men, was on par with the food, and the bill didn't seem excessive. Of course, if you eat excellent fish and drink good wine, you can't expect to get away with less. Excellent beach outside the chaos of Milano Marittima, yet still close enough to the city center. The "maxi" loungers are extremely comfortable, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is excellent.
