Cala del Re In Licata

Unique place, a wonderful cove where you can spend a relaxing day at the seaside. If you are cell phone addict then this is not for you. The place is out of any cover and therefore ideal for lying down and reading a book, listening to music, having nice chats and swimming. The restaurant then delights you with truly delicious dishes.

We went to Cala del Re in Licata today, we booked a table in the lido restaurant, where we were welcomed with typical local fish-based dishes, including oyster crudités and prawns, then sardines, octopus on a bed of mashed potatoes, Venetian spatula (true delight in the balance of the caramelisation of the onion), tuna carpaccio with sesame (I have never eaten such a delicate dish), finally caponata with delicately cooked diced fresh tuna. I recommend it to all those who love fresh fish, where in addition to savoring these delicacies, everything is accompanied by a breathtaking landscape! After having lunch, we spent the day on the beach also equipped by the managers of Cala del Re... my experience was 5 stars! Thanks to Chef Antonio and all the staff.

Passable beach, with a good restaurant. However sun beds and umbrella are ludicrously expensive (25 Euros per head, including children). On top of that they also ask for one Euro for each shower you take, which is ridiculous.

Lovely place, true relaxation, welcoming, kind and helpful staff, even the restaurant with attentive and non-intrusive waiters, good food, quick to serve. Prices more or less normal. We will be back.

Bathing establishment located in Contrada San Michele S.C. Limestone in the town of Licata in the province of Agrigento in an extraordinary landscape context within a rustic structure with a very equipped and clean private beach, well organized and with a spectacular view. Crystal clear water with an ideal temperature and height even for small children with restaurant service under the umbrellas with comfortable and well-arranged sunbeds, well-kept toilets, helpful and kind waiters and staff and inside a pleasant and relaxing fish restaurant where you can enjoy fresh and delicate dishes , crudités and house specialties accompanied by a good selection of wines and bubbles in a truly unique context that I highly recommend for an unforgettable day

Abbiamo affittato un ombrellone e due sdraie e pranzato al ristorante. Tutto eccellente, personale gentile e sempre a disposizione, cucina ottima. Non sembra un angolo di licata. Pulito in ogni angolo. Merita i soldi pagati.

I don't know the restaurant. I am exclusively reviewing the natural environment where the business is located. The cove is small and magnificent. Sheltered by rocks, both to the west and east. Today I was there with my friend Amon, a six-year-old border collie who is very good and very obedient, and the owner in charge of the business didn't even allow me to walk along the shoreline, and he explained his reasons to me, in compliance with the law. Therefore, know that if you want to go to that beach establishment or even to the attached restaurant, you must leave your animal friends at home.
