came here three times in my short stay in Rome. The food was excellent and service equally as good. Credit to Maura for amazing service, she was very friendly and helpful.

Pinsa with potatoes and sausage very good, the supplí also varied and tasty. The only flaw was that they brought us water after serving us food. Wait to sit about 25-30min.

Marvelous! The first artichokes and the pasta with eggplant, capers and olives were an excellent choice. But everything looks delicious and authentic!!

03/08/2024: The food was great and with the amazing service… it tasted even better!
30/07/2024: Came to La Pollarola on the first night of our vacation but not by chance. It was a favorite location for my old Architecture professor and was recommended by my good friend who had been here multiple times. My pasta loving sister in law raved that the Bucattino All’Amatriciana was the best pasta she ever had. I loved the Vognole e Bottarga and as you can see by the lone picture we took of the Frittura di Calamari e Gamberi, we spared no time enjoying the our dinner! We have been here almost two weeks and will definitely visit one more time before leaving Rome!

25/08/2024: Very good restaurant, the welcome is very good, the waiters are really very nice, the food is excellent. For our end of stay in Rome, we will return there, obligation to reserve in order to eat there.
05/08/2024: Excellent visit. It was indeed delicious. Thank you, Armando’s, for living up to expectations. The server was fantastic. A dedicated sommelier worked with us to choose a wine for our taste and budget. The recipes were genuine. Prices were reasonable. Worth the “reservation” adventure, I’m happy we went. Be realistic with your expectations – if you want white-glove service and candle-lit quiet elegance – it’s not that kind of place. Instead, it’s “just” genuine. Yes, tourists eat there – that’s unavoidable in central Rome – but doesn’t make it a “tourist trap” regardless of Stanley Tucci Syndrome. Reservation process is hectic. You may get in some evenings anyway, as there were usually empty tables in the windows.
