Delicious breakfast, welcoming and helpful staff. We had such a good time that we went back to get some Neapolitan delicacies to bring a bit of Naples home! Highly recommended!

When words are not needed because everything was excellent and impeccable you just have to go and taste all the delights of this bar... especially the spectacular babbà and very kind staff

Although the babbà we had was very good, we are not sure about the croissants and the cappuccino. The first ones were practically raw, one of the two was also mostly empty even though it should have been filled, while the second simply didn't taste like cappuccino. The service is quite friendly, but it's not nice to see the waiters eating behind the counter and addressing you while still chewing.

I ate a curly puff pastry and a decent pastry, nothing exceptional but not bad either. However, the service from the waiters was excellent and friendly. Still recommended if you find yourself there by chance.

What can I say, the Sfogliatella was delicious. Also tried chocolate, it was the bomb.

Found this busy, owner-chef-head waiter operated restaurant purely by chance on our first day exploring old Naples. Attracted especially by the quality of dishes being delivered to tables as we made our way through the door. Unfortunately, the experience was nearly completely derailed by the aforementioned owner suggesting dishes that really didn’t match our enquiries. My partner was simply asking what the other guests had been served so that she might order the same. Our man then patronised us by telling us that this was not a tourist dish and that he needed us to make up our minds as he was going straight into the kitchen to cook for us…. Thankfully the food that came matched our expectations - even the bread was beautifully fresh and crusty - freshly cooked octopus, squid and king prawns on a bed of fresh lettuce drizzled in olive oil and lemon juice. Even though we were probably slightly overcharged by Neapolitan standards, it was still good value and thoroughly enjoyable in culinary terms. It was just a shame that the owner is so easily offended, not liking it when his customers don’t want to accept his food suggestions. I’d definitely return to the restaurant and even recommend it to fellow travellers; but if you’re not an Italian speaker, then I strongly recommend sticking to the printed menu.
