I've been going to the bar for almost 25 years. Try the fried Iris, the donuts and all the croissants including the wholemeal one with honey. Excellent pastry shop with variety of cakes and cassatas. The coffee is an excellent branded blend and prepared to perfection. And then tobacco and much more. Friendly and helpful owners.

Really beautiful place, friendly, attentive and super professional staff. I often come here to buy sweets, cakes, ice cream or simply have a drink, and I've always had a great time. Good quality of the products and indeed, always delicious desserts! It is a place I highly recommend.

Il Signor di Carbognano

04/11/2024: Senza dubbio il gelato più buono e genuino di Palermo; personale cortese che ci accoglie sempre con il miglior sorriso.
08/10/2024: Il Signor di Carbognano era un nobile del Seicento amante dei sorbetti della tradizione siciliana, citato anche da Leonardo Sciascia nella sua attivita' di giornalista. Ci siamo documentati quando abbiamo visto quest'insegna che ci affascinava in pieno centro a Palermo. Il gelato è di ottima qualita', con gusti variegati e anche "estrosi", la brioche pure, i prezzi sono adeguati a livello ...milanese. Un pallino in meno perche' non ci piace entrare in un locale (in quel momento deserto) dove la ragazza dietro il banco nemmeno alza gli occhi che sono concentrati sullo schermo del telefonino.
